After a few days Hermione was sent home
with Draco, Blaise had arrived shortly after, and arrested Trixy, who kind of gave herself in.
Hermione hadn't said anything for two weeks, she didn't eat, or did anything, just sat in the dark corner of Draco's office for days on end.
"We can try again"rang in her ears, what the fuck was he thinking?!
We can try again!? What the actual mother of hell!
Hermione hung her head, legs crossed, her baby bump had shrunk slightly, going down slowly after a period of time, she would have no Memory of her newborn baby.
Her beautiful darling baby.
That baby would have been lying in her arms by now, smiling and laughing.
Hermione sniffled, tears slipping down her cheeks, as she ran her hands down her belly bump, where her baby had been slumbering.. where her baby had suffered..
"I'm sorry"she sobbed, her lip trembling.
"I'm so sor-ry!"she screamed, bashing her fists on the floor, and lay curled up like that for hours, until Draco came in, and cradled her in his arms.
"I-I lost a-a child-d"she whispered, her voice like ice.
"I lost my baby.."
Draco closed his eyes, running his hands up and down her body, comforting her, sitting in the dark of the office, night closing in on them.
"Let's get away.."he whispered against her hair, remembering the children.
"But-"
"Let's do it.. we can go to Paris again,"he smiled, kissing the side of her head.
Shivers sprung down Hermione's spine and she turned her head, tear tracks covering her face, the moon light shining down against her face softly.
"Let's do it,
The kids can go to Narcissa and Lucius-"
"But, I feel like a terrible mother when all I do is think about myself.. I've been going away a lot.."
"You deserve a break, and when we come back we can spend as much time as you need with the children".
Hermione sighed, and gave a curt nod.
"Let's do it,"
