Hermione had been discharged for a while, so she went out with Ginny and Luna for Lunch in Diagonally, nothing fancy, not in her condition.
Hermione sat down and sighed, inhaling deeply through her nose, and exhaling through her mouth, closing her eyes against the pain of moving, and ordered a large vodka.

"Hermione you can't be serious!"Ginny exclaimed, sitting down in the booth in front of her.

"I need this Ginny,"Hermione breathed, wringing her wrists and looking out across the window.

Autumn was here, and the leaves on the trees where falling, Orange, brown and red danced in the air and fluttered in the breeze.
"Would you like anything else? A sandwich
or a -"

"No.."She Whispered, annoyance creeping up on her as she clenched her fists, closing her eyes, and taking another gulp of air.

Everyone was doing things for her, like she could no longer do anything, and it was very frustrating, telling her what to do like she had no mind of her own.

"Ok, Luna what do you want?"

"I want to see the menu at the bar.."she stated in her dreamy voice, before dancing with Ginny towards the bar.

Hermione watched them waltz away, and scoffed, before someone placed a huge glass of Muggle whiskey in front of her.

"You look like you need it" said the old woman, before walking away, cackling to herself.

Hermione took a deep breath and furrowed her eyebrows at the muggle whiskey.

Whiskey is Draco's drink.

She looked down sadly, fighting back a loud sob with all her might, and downed the glass in one go, before walking carefully out the door, leaving Ginny and Luna still at the bar taking to the bar maid about sandwiches.

She trudged on through the masses of leaves and cobbles, pushing past civilians and small children, before reaching a dark alleyway and leaned against the wall, inhaling deeply, and closing her eyes as a cold breeze swept against the skin on her face, her lilac scarf ruffling in the wind.
The sky grew very dark, rather quickly, and unexpectedly, the moon standing up in the dark star dotted

"Draco.."she whispered, placing a hand over her heart, knees buckling as another harsh breeze gushed past her.

Tears threatened to fall, yet they did anyway, and her lip trembled as her mind raced with memories of their time together.

She let out a defeated sob and fell to her knees, a flushing pain ran through her veins and her bones fell brittle and delicate, like a piece of china that was not to be dropped.
She cradled herself against the grimey brick wall, and covered her mouth with her hands, in fear of someone to hear her.

"Hello?" Called a voice, the voice was male, husky and rough, mostly familiar.

The figure walked towards her, she stopped breathing and sunk lower into the clumped up leaves by the wall and watched as the platinum blonde hair came into sight within the moonlight.

"Draco.."Hermione breathes, but clamped her hands over her mouth and cursing herself for saying it as his eyes traveled towards her hiding in the shadows, and raised an eyebrow, before kneeling down in front of her.

"Granger?"he whispered.

Hermione grew sad, and threw her arms around him, holding him close and sobbing.
Draco wrapped his arms around her small waist and pulled her closer, engulfing her within his over-coat and protecting her from the cold.

She sobbed into his chest, and fisted his shirt, burying her head into his chest and breathed in his scent, closing her eyes.

"Draco.."she murmured, humming out his name, as they cradled each other in the dark alleyway.

"What're you doing here?"he replied, running his hands up her back.

"I wanted to get away..from everyone.."Hermione shivered, feeling Draco's body warmth sink into her veins.

"Me too,"He mused, resting his chin on the top of her head.
"I.. Am. So sorry,"

Hermione laughed, the laugh shuddering as she pressed her body closer to his.
"You should be.."

"I am, Really"

She pulled away and narrowed her eyes, sinking her brown orbs into his silvers through the dark.
"You may be sorry, but if I hadn't found you two together, you would've kept going on with her wouldn't you?"

Draco looked down, his eyebrows furrowing and he gulped.

"I should've known-"

"Ok! It was a huge mistake! But there is nothing I can do about it now!"he growled.

She looked into his face, his unsteady breath blowing against her face, and she leaned in, her hands behind his head and pulled him towards her, locking them together in a long kiss.
Hermione pulled away after awhile and pressed her forehead against his, looking down at their untwined fingers.
"I trusted you with my life Draco.." she breathed again.
Draco bit his bottom lip and closed his eyes.
"I know.."
"And you threw that trust down the drain.."
Draco cringed and squeezed his eyes.
"Well.. if it is possible, I will call the muggle plumber and ask him to retrieve that trust.."
Hermione laughed quietly, and rolled her eyes, placing her lips softly against his, and looked down again, tears falling against her cheeks.
"Wow, it's a wonder how many tears I have shed, you would've thought my body was carrying the river themes"she smiled, and wiped them away with her thumb, and stood up, using Draco's as support, before walking towards the end of the alley, that led to the street.
"Well?"she called at Draco who was still crouching in the same position who  out a low chuckle.
"Would there be anything else madam?" He smirked, standing and walking towards her, bent over and his arm extended.
"That will be all, Sir"she smiled, taking his arm within hers and placed her head against his shoulder.
"Can I ask you a question?"she mumbled, as they walked along the abandoned street.
"Ask away, my dear"
"Why did you do it?"
Draco stopped walking, and paused, looking down at her, the street lamps illuminating a bold yellow.
"I...well I had second thoughts when we went away.. and I was Ill, I realised that I wanted to be with you, but.. she kept coming and I couldn't help myself."
Hermione scoffed and rolled her eyes, her hands itching to slap him across the face and kiss him at the same time.
"You prick.."she smirked.
"You are a prick, a dick, a little fucking stupid price of shit at the bottom of your shoe,"
Draco chuckled and nodded in agreement.
"And I missed you.. But you have no idea how much I wanted to peel of your skin and feed it to that bitch.. I wanted to kick your teeth in and cut off pieces of you.. But I couldn't , I'm too soft for my own good and .. we don't deserve each other because for you to actually do that, take my heart and then crush it in your fists the way you did.. I hope one day you feel the pain I feel every second of every day when I..."She looked down, and sucked in a breath.
Draco bent down to her level and took her by the shoulders.
"You deserve the world."
