Dear Hermione,
I've missed you deeply, and I am so terribly sorry about Jack, he was a good man, and I know how you must be feeling.
If you need anything, I'm right where you left me.
If you would like, we can meet up at the Three Broom Sticks, Tuesday at lunch, and we can catch up on things.
I must warn you though, I will be bringing my son, he is four, I know! Big shock! Turns out the woman who I was with before had fallen pregnant and had left the poor child on my doorstep not long after you had married.
Anyway, i am waiting for your reply, always, and hope to see you soon.
All my love,
Draco
XxxxxxxxxxxxDraco,
I got your reply, and thank you for your concern, I will be fine in the long run though.
But wonderful new about your son! I am happy for you and we must certainly meet on Tuesday, and I will be bringing my daughter if that's alright, her name is Jaqueline, we hadn't found the chance of naming her together, but after Jack had died, I decided it.
My last gift to him probably.
Anyway, I am excited to see you once again, and I look forward to seeing your little boy.
I'll be seeing you on Tuesday then!
All my love,
Hermione
XxxxxxxxxxxxHermione laced up her black boots, and wrapped her scarf snuggly around her neck, before placing Jaqueline gently within the warm wrappings of her pink pram, and opened the door to the cold breeze of winter nearing. She grasped the pram tightly, after locking the door, and appeared with a loud Pop in Hogsmead, and walked, pushing the pram down the pavement past the buzzing shop windows.
She made a stop at The Three Broomsticks and opened the door, with mighty struggle, before some of the men at the bar rushed to help her.
"Thank you, thank you,"she smiled, pulling the pram up the large stone steps, and biting her lip."Excuse me sir, terribly sorry but is it alright if I leave the pram here?"she asked, at the old wirey decrepit man, his eyes crossed, one up at the ceiling and the other to the left, but had no difficulty in seeing Hermione and the baby, before nodding with a huge grin.
"Thank you,"Said Hermione, taking Jaqueline out of her pram, and bouncing her in her arms and searching for that beautiful young man she had fallen for all those years ago.
And she saw him.
Sitting at a booth in the corner by the window, with a small boy with bleach blonde jelled hair, sitting promptly on his knee, pointing out of the window with wide silver orbs.
Draco smiled at his son, and looked over at Hermione who was standing by the door alone, holding a small baby in her arms, wrapped in a large cream yellow blanket.
He waved over to her, before standing with his son, and walking towards her, and embracing her in a long hug.
Hermione smiled at the warmth and shuddered, before hugging him back, not tightly, before her daughter suffocated within his large black over coat, and sat down at the booth in front of them.
The small boy sat down again, next to Draco on the other side, with wide eyes and gave a small smile, before holding out his hand.
"Scorpius Malfoy Ma'am!"he grinned widely.
Hermione have a warm smile and shook his tiny hand.
"Wow, Draco, you have one polite young man there"she gushed, "The splitting image of you aswell!"
Draco smirked proudly and ruffled his sons hair, before leaning into the table.
He looked the same, like years ago, except some thin wrinkles in the corners of his eyes, and large bags beneath them from sleep deprivation."How are you?"He asked sincerely.
"I'm. . . Im Ok,"she sighed, bouncing the baby in her arms.
"I just don't know what to do anymore . . . I hardly talk to Any of my friends anymore, but I guess they just have stuff going on now . . ."
Draco frowned, "Well you've always got me and Scorp,"Hermione looked up at him, with hopeful eyes and grinned, before struggling to take her coat off.
"Wait a second,"He interrupted as she struggled harshly, and gently took the baby out of her protective grasp, rocking her in his arms.
Hermione managed to take her coat off once he did that, and hung it on the back of her chair, watching hesitantly as her baby girl giggled up at Draco, with wide emerald marbles.
"She's precious," he whispered.
Scorpius craned his neck upwards and looked down at the baby girl in his fathers arms, grinning widely and sitting back down, spine straighter than a pole.
"So, How is the business doing?"Hermione pipped in after a long silence of watching Jaqueline.
"Ah, the business. ."Draco paused, his cheeks tinted pink slightly.
"There is no business anymore, someone who had access to the passwords for the muggle contraption has taken most of the money out of workers accounts, and I couldn't pay them anymore than I already had the day before the incident, so the businesses went into lock down, I had to contact many many people, but I still have some of the stocks- just no building, no workers, just me and some money".
Hermione sat wide eyes in front of Draco, her mouth slightly agape.
"I'm so sorry!"she cried."It's. . . Well, to be completely honest, I'm not quite sure what's going to happen next, I just pray that it's good".
Scorpius raised an eyebrow, but stayed quietly by his fathers side.
Draco rocked Jaqueline once more, before handing her back to Hermione softly.
"She's lucky to have a mother like you, truly"
She blushed and smiled at him, before bouncing the baby against her chest and humming a light melody.Scorpius cleared his throat and rigged at his fathers sleeve.
"Can I go to Honeydukes? Pleeeeeeese?"Draco looked down at his son and but his lip in fear of the things that could possibly happen, and Hermione stood up, placing Jaqueline gently over her chest.
"Don't worry, you drink up, I'll take him,"
Draco looked up at her and smiled affectionately, before Scorpius stood up abruptly and took her hand within his, entwining their fingers, as Hermione handed her daughter to Draco."Come on then Scorpius,"Draco heard Hermione say as they walked out of the door, the cold breeze flushing the pub, and watched them from the window travel slowly, hand in hand, towards HoneyDukes.
