Love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs;
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;
Being vexed, a sea nourished with loving tears.
What is it else? A madness most discreet,
A choking gall, and a preserving sweet.
- William Shakespeare

For days the Auror team had been planning and planning for their next move upon Trixy, she has been located in Poland,in a warehouse somewhere in Szczecin.

Hermione volunteered first to hunt the witch down, people looked down on her, whispering and gossiping away to the person next to them, Hermione ignored them, rolling her beautiful brown eyes, and gave Blaise, who stood at the far front, a grin.

"Right, Ok, so who else would like to go after Trixy with Granger?"

No one else volunteered, everyone came into silence, and Hermione scoffed mockingly, giving Blaise a wide smile, as he scratched his head awkwardly.

"Ok, Granger, you have all the skills, so there will be no need for training.. you will leave for Poland on Saturday night, we have booked your tickets and I will personally pick you and take you to Stansted."

"What? Why can't I just apperate?"she asked, eyebrows raised.

"Your nine months pregnant, apperating can cause complications, and you will be flying privately, they won't let you on the plane otherwise".

Hermione nodded, looking down at her knees in thought, as everyone else scattered apart like  when small children run after pigeons.

When Hermione arrived back home, it was ten at night, she huffed, putting her coat up in the hanger, before feeling Someone's strong arms wrap around her, despite the huge bulge at her front.

"How was work?"Draco's muffled voice came from behind, kissing her neck.

"Exhausting, you know I had to go to seven different buildings, just to find one bloody paper.. not that helpful when your pregnant,"she scoffed, turning around to face him, a small smile on her lips.

"Couldn't anyone else do it?"He asked,
his face stern at the news of his heavily pregnant girlfriend having to scavenge around for a piece of parchment.

"No.."she sighed, pressing her lips against his, and humming appreciatively.
"I'm going to Poland on Saturday,"she whispered, opening her eyes to gaze into his stormy orbs.

"What..?"

"For a mission-"she said, walking away towards the kitchen, her back arched uncomfortably, and she groaned, massaging it gently.

Draco stood back at the door, his face full of hurt, but masked it, and strutted over towards her, playing a grin on his face,
Hermione could tell he was upset about it, but didn't say anything, grabbed a pot of ice cream, a large silver spoon, and trudged up the stairs.

Draco followed closely, arms ready to catch her if she, did for  some reason of any kind, fell, and watched as she walked into their bedroom.

She tiredly got undressed and put pajama trousers on,hopped into bed, curling in the duvet, the tub of ice cream on the top of her belly, and switched on the telly that had been transferred to their bedroom.

Draco sat on the edge as she flicked through films and put on Brigit Jone's Diary.
"About the mission.."he began, Hermione paused the film and frowned.

"I'll be fine!"she gave him a tiny grin, placing a comforting hand on his, and rubbed her thumb against his knuckles.

Downstairs, Scorpius, Pansy, Blaise, and Jaqueline trundled through, Jaqueline had late turned three, sitting quietly on Blaise's chest, and drooling on his shoulder.

Ah, the perks of being a parent..

Scorpius looked around, and frantically ran up the stairs, into Draco and Hermione's bedroom, a smile on his handsome face.

He rapped his knuckles on the door, waiting for an answer within, and walked through.

Hermione gave Scorpius a warm grin, as he went towards her and gave her a big hug, and a kiss on the cheek.
Draco watched them, feeling ever so more heartbroken.

"What time do you have to leave Granger?"he asked, his eyebrows raised.

Hermione gazed over to him, "I'm not quite sure, ask Blaise, he taking me to the airport"
"The airport?" Chimed in Scorpius.

🎶I chimed in, with, "haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?"🎶

Hermione sighed, running her fingers through his fringe, and giving him a very sad smile.
"I'm going for a small Business holiday to Poland on Saturday, but I'll be back, okay?"she said quietly.

Scorpius frowned, head down; looking at the floor, and gave a short nod, before walking out the door.

Hermione gasped, a pain shooting through her stomach, and began squeezing Draco's hand very tightly.

"What is it?"He cried, concerned.

She took in sharp breath,"I'm sure it's nothing," she mumbled as the pain stopped, and she tried to get out of bed, but Draco stopped her.

"No, you get some rest, and watch that film with your ice cream"he said sternly.
She nodded, and lay back down in the stack of pillows.

It was Saturday.. the day had finally arrived, Scorpius gave Hermione a big hug around her waist and she kissed Jaqueline goodbye.

Hermione walked over towards Draco, as he stood, tears in his eyes, and looked into her face, his expression solemn.

"I'll be back before you know it,"she smiled, wiping away a tear that slipped down his pale cheek.

Draco blinked, and pressed his lips to hers, his hands on the base of her waist.
"I love you, Granger"he whispered.

Hermione frowned, tears pricking her eyes.
"I love you too, Ferret"

Draco smirked sadly, as she walked away, but when she got into the muggle car with Blaise, he ran up the stairs, and locked himself in the bathroom, hands on either side of the sink, and sobbed.
