Yui's POV

"Ms. Lhea, where should we put this?"

"Oh. Just right above the window on the corner. Ayusin niyo din yung bow, may pagkabaliktad eh."

"Thanks po."

"How about this Lhea?"

"Hmm...since the shade is darker...I guess you can place that at the center. Ilan ba ang ganyan?"

"...Around 15 ribbons, if I remember right."

"Great. Sa center talaga. Paikot nalang."

"Okay~"

Tiningnan ko kung paano mag-ayos ang mga kaklase ko. At least di sila yung mga tatamad tamad na galit pa kapag pinapakiusapan. Haha, ang harsh ko ata. Sa totoo lang ay masisipag sila.

"Ugh, dahan-dahan naman at baka masira fingernails ko!"

"Gosh, ang hirap ma-reach!"

Uh, maybe most of them.

Anyways, tiningnan ko ulit silang gumawa para makita kung may mali ba. As far as I know, they're doing great.

"Hey, Lhea." Napatingin ako sa likod ko at nakita ko si Shina na nakangiti. I smiled back and she tilted her head with a shrug, and I nodded back.

Nasa graden na kami ngayon at nakaupo sa ilalim ng malaking puno.

"Remember the time na nahulog si Shi dito sa punong 'to? Haha, kinabahan talaga ako dun." She started as she looked up. I leaned my back on the tree for support, tilting my head a little in worry of my brown wig getting tangled. We shared a moment of peaceful silence, wind rustles and hits us.

"Shina..." I called out to her. She hummed in response as she landed her head on my shoulder. Should I tell her?

"Do you...do you know the reason for the bombing incident?" Tanong ko sakanya. I was hesitant of course because, this might be a sensitive topic for her now. Knowing the reason is necessary, but it also means harm and hurt. Di ko nga alam kung bakit ako nagtatanong sakanya nito ngayon, kasi kahit ako 'di ko alam. Wala pa ako masyadong alam sa takbo ng mga may pakana noon.

And that scares me.

"Sorry, Lhea. I don't know." She squeezed my hand a little, and that's my sign to say that she's scared too. Hindi namin alam ang gustong iparating nila. Hindi namin alam ang pakay nila. Hindi namin alam kung anong gusto nila. Wala pa kaming alam sa mangyayari ngayon.

Honestly, I'm being paranoid. I should just relax right now and think that 'Everything's fine. It can't be them. It's nearly impossible.' Pero ang pakiramdam ko habang iniisip ang mga bagay na yun ay mas bumibigat lang, para bang dinadaganan ako ng nakatagong katotohanan na hindi ko matakasan.

I'm scared. What if they're the one behind this? What if things become uncontrollable? What if...

Oh no.

What if this is only a warning?

"Yui!"

Nanlaki ang mata ko nang mabalik ako sa realidad. I looked beside me and saw the worried face of Shina. She held my hand gently, slightly squeezing for assurance. Ngayon ko lang napansin, nanginginig na pala ako.

"I-I'm sorry...I just---" Natigil ako nang hinawakan niya ang magkabilang balikat ko. She shook me a little, like trying to get me out of my trance.

"Yui. Remember, this is not your problem only. This is the problem of us, the royalties, the kingdom. Don't carry this all by yourself." Shina sternly said with a pained and irritated look on her face.

"But everything..I have to...protect..." I squeaked out, bowing my head to hide the forming tears. She loosened her grip then sighed. When I felt her hugging me, that's the cue for me to sob.

"Shh. Yui, hindi ka nagi-isa. Hindi lang ikaw ang kailangang lumaban. Tandaan mo, may pamilya ka. May mga alagad ka. May mga nasasakupan ka." Bumitaw na siya sa pagkakayakap at tumingin saakin. She showed me a warm, gentle smile.

"May mga kaibigan ka."

Her last words hit me. My eyes widen, as realization took place. I bit my lip and tried to stop the flow of water from my eyes, but it still continued. Napapikit nalang ako at umiyak ng mahina.

"...yeah. Thanks. Sorry, I forgot." I looked at her then smiled. "Nandito na pala uli best friend ko."

Tumawa lang siya ng mahina at pinunasan ang mga luha ko.

"Come on. Patuyuin mo na iyan. Babalik na tayo." She said then I nodded.

"Mm. Let's go."

Hakuya's POV

"Don't want to."

"Come on, please? We have to do this." She pleaded. I clicked my tounge in annoyance.

"Don't. Want. To. It's too tiring." I said. Nag pout lang siya kaya napatingin ako. There, I noticed the slight redness of her eyes.

"Hey." Napatingin si Lhea saakin at napataas ng kilay.

"Umiyak ka ba?" I asked, which made her pause. Pero matapos lang ang ilang segundo ay bumalik ulit siya sa dati.

"No. If you're asking that because of the redness of my eyes, mahangin sa labas kaya napuwing ako." She lied. I know, she lied. Alam ko kung nagsisinungaling siya o hindi, at huwag niyo ng tanungin kung bakit.

"Hmm. Okay." I blurted. And as I did, I saw her sigh from the corner of my eyes. Pfft. Masyadong halata.

"So, tayo nalang mags-start ng program?" She asked in excitement and hope while waiting for my answer. I smiled at her.

"Nope." And then I slumped back on my chair.

"Eehhhh??? Oh come on!! Hakuya!!" She kept whining and shook my shoulders. Ugh, this girl...

"Fine, fine! I got it so stop shaking me!" Bumitaw na siya at binigay saakin ang 'victory smile' niya. Sigh. Kahit kailan talaga.

"So, when are we going to start?" I asked her and she sat down on the chair infront of me.

"Well, I think tomorrow is a good option. Since tapos na ang mga preparation ng bawat class. I already checked their needs and yup! Done already." Napatingin ako sakanya. She'smiling with her eyes closed. Kakaiba talaga itong babaeng ito.

"Heh~ 'di naman halata na excited ka 'no?" I smirked. Natigilan siya at biglang namula. Pfft.

"I-it's not like that..." she pouted then looked away. Haha. Parang bata parin talaga.

How nostalgic.

So, bukas na pala ang start ng school festival. Sana maging maayos ang lahat.
