Left Behind

Conan's POV
I ran all the way to the Kudo Mansion, excitement surging through my body. Pushing the rusty door handle open, a familiar scent welcomed me.
Home sweet home

Agasa's POV
Shinichi ran out of my house to the mansion, happiness clearly shown on his face. I'm sorry Ai, he didn't even give you a chance.

Conan's POV
A familiar sense of pain rushed through my body. Although I've gotten used to it, this time it was much worse. It felt like my bones were growing rapidly and my muscles were stretching. Unable to hold the pain any longer, I let out a scream, hoping it would ease the pain. But it didn't. I felt my body weaken, and my eyesight was blurred. It felt like a huge weight just got dropped on my shoulders as my body touched the cold hard ground. Last thing I saw, was the bathroom door opening before the light betrayed me.

No one's POV
'Do you think he'd be fine'
'yeah, he just passed out because of the pain, he'd be waking up any second now,'
Agasa and Ai was sitting next to an older version of Conan, who was lying on the bed. They came here after hearing the ear-piercing scream coming from the Kudo mansion. Ai looked at Shinichi's body, tears threatened to fall out of her eyes. She couldn't hold it in anymore.

'Well I'll be going now' Ai tried to hide her face as she got up and walked out of the room.

Ai's POV

I closed the door shut. A moment later, tears fell freely down my cheeks as I ran away from the mansion. It was cold outside, blood chillingly cold, the kind of cold that burns and continues to hurt when you think you're already numb, just like my heart. I sighed Why did I fall in love with him, onee san, why?

Shinichi's POV

I tried to open my eyes, but the light in the room blinded it. I heard the door slam shut, but I didn't care much about it.

'Are you awake, Shinichi?' An elderly voice came from beside me.

My left eye opened a bit and I saw Agasa sitting next to me with a relieved smile on his face. I looked at my hands, they were back to normal size.

'Did I pass out from the antidote' I asked as I explored my body.

A/N: Sounds wrong, but who cares?

'Yes, you did, luckily, Ai heard you scream and immediately came over here.'

Haibara saved me again

'Where is she?'

'She went back already'

I felt a pang in my chest, almost like a needle poking at my heart, but I never really delved into things like that, it's probably just a side effect of the antidote.

Next day

No one's POV

He takes the stinky old tooth brush out of the rushy box and in the most disgraceful manner, spreads the tooth paste on and stuffed the whole thing in his mouth. He was tired so he didn't put into consideration on how unhygienic it was. It was 8 in the morning and most students are already on their way to school. He was never really the time-management type, especially not after his many absents from school.

Shinichi grabbed his pants and - attempted - to put it on as he spat out the tooth paste.

'Urgg, stupid pants,' he complained.
Knock knock
'Which idiot is knocking on my front door?!' He zipped his pants up and proceeded towards the door.
