'Mr Kudo, you will be able to discharge from the hospital today,' the doctor notified, with Shiho, Kazuha and Heiji beside Shinichi. Because of karate practice, Ran was unable to visit Shinichi on this day.

'Thank you, doctor,' Shinichi thanked with a smile.

'Welp, get up Kudo, let's go get some things to eat, I haven't even eaten breakfast yet,' Heiji ordered,

'Chill Hattori, you're turning into Genta' Shinichi commented in a calm manner.

'That little brat, yea nuh,' he scoffed, placing his hands on his hips, looking sassy.

'So, what place are we going to?' Shiho asked, getting tired of their exchange.

'Ooo, I heard there was a newly built western coffee shop around here,' Kazuha suggested, a flick of excitement shimmered in her eyes.

'Alright I'm off,' Heiji declared immediately, as he ran outside. Seconds later his head popped out of the door, 'wait, I don't know where it is,'

The coffee shop was small but cozy, filled with couches of different shapes and sizes. The teens made their way over to a table and started scanning through the menu.

Shiho sat next to Kazuha and the boys sat next to each other, while an unpleasant sound of a growling stomach suddenly crept up to them.

'See, I told you I was hungry,' Heiji scratched the back of his head in an embarrassed manner.

'Guys, what do you want? I'm getting scrambled eggs with toast,' Kazuha stated.

'I'm getting Caesar Salad,' Shiho replied simply, placing her menu down.

Since she lived in America for a while, she has gotten use to it's dishes and cuisines, and one of her favourite ones, were the Caesar Salad.

'Seriously, you should get something warm in the morning,' Shinichi exhorted.

Shiho looked at him for a moment, 'is it your job to tell me what to do?' she threw a sarcastic comment at him.

'I'm just telling you the best thing to do,'

Kazuha and Heiji stared at the two curiously.

'Well, I'm getting big breakfast,' Heiji announced smiling at the thought of it.

'You shouldn't eat that much!' Kazuha protested.

'I don't care, Kudo what are you getting,'

'Eggs Benedict,' Shinichi said

'This is really good!' Kazuha commented while Heiji practically stuffed his face in his big breakfast.

Shinichi cut a piece of his eggs benedict, the egg yolk flowing freely out.

'Here,' he offered Shiho the piece, 'you gotta eat something warm,'

The strawberry blonde blushed slightly before bashfully taking a bite of the piece.

The hot hollandaise sauce melted in her mouth, adding a tinge of rich, creamy, lemony taste to the egg and the bread. Completely balancing out the contrasting flavors, the salmon gives of a salty taste while the sauce equalizes all the sensations. Each bite was like a step to heaven, leaving Shiho in awe of how this dish is even possible.
