"Mom, you can't make me go."

"Sorry honey, but you're not old enough to live on your own yet, you're only sixteen."

"But I don't want to move! I like it here!" I whined like I always do.

"I do too, but we have to move, so get your butt in that car and let's go!" She rushed still trying to get the last of the things packed.

"No," I crossed my arms over my shoulder standing in the middle of the kitchen.

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes"

"No! You can't make me!"

-

"How much longer?" I asked my mom having a bored look on face. Yes, I did end up losing the little fight we had, but she said she would buy me donuts. Who could say no to donuts?!

"Tatum don't start," she said rolling her eyes and keeping her eyes on the road.

"I was just curious." I mumbled looking out the window. I soon wasn't going to see my house that I've lived in since birth, or the friends I made in Michigan. Instead I'm going to be seeing a new neighborhood, new house, new school. Basically a whole new life. Which means I have to make new friends. So exciting! Yes, sarcasm was intended.

"Mom"

"Mom"

"Mom!"

"Mom!!"

"Moo-"

"Oh my god! Luke! What do you want?" My mom yelled looking like she was going to kill us both in five seconds.

That's my annoying little brother Luke, but I still love him. He just turned eight.

"I need to peeee!" He whined bouncing in his car seat.

"Are you kidding me? Why didn't you go when we stopped at the gas station?"

"I didn't have to go then.." he mumbled trailing his sentence off.

"Ugh okay, the next gas station is in five minutes."

"Yay!" He excitedly said going back to playing on his iPad. This child is spoiled as hell. He recently just got an iPad for his birthday, but I had to wait until I was 15. I've been asking for one since I was 12. Thanks mom.

We pulled up to the gas station and I stayed in the car. I rested my elbow on the side of the door. All of a sudden I felt the door open and my hand and head both fell to the side.

"What the hell!" I looked down and saw Luke looking up at me.

"Ooohh you swore! I'm telling mom!" He yelled. "Also mom said that you need to take me to the bathroom." He added.

"First of all I'm allowed to swear you dork and second of all aren't you old enough to go to the bathroom by yourself?" I asked, too lazy to get out of the car.

"No, because anything could happen."

I rolled my eyes and slowly unbuckled myself from the seat. I grabbed Luke's hand and crossed the street to get to the store.
