"Hey guys!" I said entering the black truck.

"Hi T!" Gray replied enthusiastically.

"Hey Tums." Ethan said, winking at me. I started blushing and looked down, hoping that Gray didn't notice. I don't even think he knows we're together now.

"So, what do we do now? About us dating I mean." I clarified as we were almost to the school doors.

"Well we do this." He said, grabbing my hand and swinging it back and forth.

"Is that okay?" He chuckles and looked at me. I nodded and had a huge grin on my face. My face was probably going to explode.

We walked through the doors and everyone turned, looking at us in confusion. I looked down trying to ignore the stares. They weren't bad ones, I just don't like all the eyes focused on me.

We both stopped at my locker and he waited for me to get my things.

"What."

"The."

"Actual."

"Fuck."

Grayson, Laney, Dani, and Victoria all said.

"When did you guys get together? How did I not know this? You guys were in the truck!" Gray started asking all these questions.

"Well it started yesterday and here we are now!" I smiled, showing our intertwined hands.

"Sorry E, but we need to steal her for the extra, juicy details." Victoria said, grabbing my hand and pulling me away from Ethan.

Before I was out of earshot from them, I heard Grayson say,"Don't screw this up E."

"Tell us everything!!" Dani screamed, excitedly. My eyes widened as I noticed she was a little too excited.

"Well..." I told them everything that happened yesterday and they all had intrigued faces on, not even once bored of the story.

"Wow, that's surprisingly not cringey at all." Victoria said.

"Yea, by the way who was that guy standing next to you?" I asked her, remembering from the day of the fight.

"Oh, um that's my friend Kian." She blushed, looking down.

"Doesn't seem like a friend if you're blushing." Laney nudged her shoulder as she wiggles her eyebrows.

"Well I've liked him for a long time now, but he just doesn't know that. And I feel like he doesn't like me back." She sadly replied. She looked down at her feet, avoiding eye contact from us.

"I'm sure he likes you! You too would be cute together!" I said, making her feel more confident. She smiled at us.

"Thanks guys."

"Hey bud! What are you doing here so early?" I asked as I set my bag down, seeing my brother watching tv on the couch.

"Early dismissal today." He responded.

"Did you have anything to eat?" I asked him, about to make some mac n cheese again.

"Just some apple sauce and granola bars." He said, as I was still looking in the cupboards. I sighed not finding anything that we could make. I looked at the countertop seeing a note from my mom.

"Please have you and your brother go grocery shopping, as I will be stuck at work, keeping a roof over your head."

She's still mad. I rolled my eyes and threw the note away.

"Grab your coat, we're going grocery shopping." I told him. He ran upstairs and grabbed his coat, taking awhile to put it on. As we were walking outside, so was Ethan.

"Ethan!" Luke yelled, running over to him and hugging his leg.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?" Ethan asked, walking towards me.

"We're going grocery shopping." I told him.

"Cool, I'm coming. We can take my mom's car." He said, walking over to his car. He texted his mom telling her that he's taking the car.

We got in and drove to the grocery store.

"Candy!!" Luke yelled as soon as we walked in the store.

"No Luke, we're just buying dinner items and snacks." He pouted and walked back over to the cart.

"How are you paying for this?" Ethan asked as we walked down the cereal aisle.

"My mom gave me a different credit card and put a $200 limit, so she'll know I won't spend anything else on it." I rolled my eyes.

"So in that case." Ethan trailed off and ran somewhere else.

"Ethan where are you- ugh." I decided not to even ask what he's up to. I picked out cereal for Luke and cereal for me. Ethan came back later with bags. Not just any bags; bags of candy.

"Ethan, I just told Luke not to get any candy." I sternly told him.

"You can't not get candy when you go to the grocery story." He said, dumping the bags in the cart.

"Candy! Candy! Candy!" Luke chanted and threw fists in the air.

"I hate you." I told him, trying to be serious but then smiled. I can never be serious.

"I hate you too." He smiled wider.

-

We finally finished grocery shopping and put them all away.

I was hungry so I decided to make myself a sandwich. Luke came in from the living room to see what I was doing.

"Oohh, can you make me a sandwich too! I love your sandwiches tums!" Luke begged, just as Ethan came in the kitchen.

"Can I have a sandwich also?" Ethan pleaded, using his puppy dog eyes. I don't give in to puppy dog eyes, but his eyes are different.

"Fine." I huffed, getting out the bread again.

"Yay!" They both cheered and high-fived each other.

"You're right Luke, Tums does make a good sandwich."

"Mhm!" Luke replied, wiping away the mayo from the corner of his mouth.

"Go take a bath." I told Luke, picking up is trash.

"No!" He screamed, not getting up from his seat.

"Why? You love baths?" I questioned.

"I wanna hang with Ethan." He pouted and crossed his arms over his chest.

I looked at Ethan and he shrugged his shoulders, chuckling.

"Okay ten more minutes and then you have to take a bath." I reasoned.

"Yay!" He cheered, grabbing Ethan's hand and dragging him over to the couch. It makes my heart smile at how Ethan is so good with kids.
