a/n: warning this is a very long chapter and could have so many mistakes in it, but i wanted it like this so that it could be like the climax of the story. next chapter will be a little short story of a halloween thing that i wanted to do. but since it's not halloween anymore i'm still going to do it. *sticks tongue out and puts up two peace signs* also be sure to pay close attention to the pov's because they change a lot.
Ethan's pov (shocker)
It was the end of the day and Gray and I were heading home to change, so we could toss the football around.
"Bye babe, I'll see you in a few hours." I kissed her quickly as we stood outside. "Have fun!" She smiled before walking back over to her house. I watched her walk away, god I love her.
"Let's go lover boy." Grayson teased me as he lightly hit the back of my head. Grayson was driving while I was in the passenger seat.
"I can't believe we're gonna be seniors dude!" Grayson sighed contently as he started the truck.
"I know, it feels like yesterday we were just freshmen." I responded as I looked out the window. We were already at the school considering it's only a ten minute drive. Grayson parked the truck and we hopped out.
I sat our duffel bag a few feet away and tossed the ball to Gray. After a couple of throws and some one on one games that we played, I stopped tossing the ball.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked, my blood already boiling. "Just here to practice." He nonchalantly said. "It's summer, what do you need to practice for?" I scoffed as I put the football between my arm and my side.
"It's always good to push yourself, to be prepared for next season." He reasoned. "And you choose today to be the day you practice?" Grayson questioned him.
"Yeah, no one else would be here. It wasn't like I was hoping you guys were here, but I guess things happen for a reason." He smirked as he stepped closer to us.
"Mind if I grab some water, I forgot to bring some." I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."
He kneeled down facing away from us as he unzipped the duffel bag, I didn't question it so I just continued tossing the ball to Gray.
"Actually I think I'm gonna go." He said as he stood up from his squat position. "Didn't you just get here?" Gray asked confused.
"Gray don't question it, he's leaving." I said smirking. "Ha ha ha." He laughed sarcastically. "See ya, losers. Or maybe I won't." He weirdly said before walking away.
"Don't you think it's a little sketchy?" Grayson questioned, suspicion in his eyes. "It's Tyler, he's always doing something sketchy." I answered. Gray shrugged his shoulders and we just played music and kept tossing the ball.
A few hours later, we decided to pack up and go back home. I wanted to get some exercise in, so I told Gray I was going for a jog, it was dark out, but we're not that far from home.
I put my earbuds in and started to jog. I cut through an alleyway as a shortcut, to make it home faster. I finally arrived home, ready to take a shower and stay up all night.
I finished my shower, changed into a black t-shirt, and some basketball shorts, and went downstairs. Sirens were heard from outside, causing me to look out the window. The police were stopped right in front of my house.
They knocked on the door, and my mom had opened the door. "Officers? How can I help you?" She asked, nervousness in her voice.
"Is there an Ethan Dolan here?" The police officer asked. "Yes, why?" She asked as she looked at me. What the hell are they here for? I didn't do anything.
