"Tum-Tums"

"Wait so what changed your mind?" Dani asked as she wrote down some notes. I had told her that I decided to go and hangout with Dani and Gray. Even though I don't need to since Tyler probably doesn't want to talk to me, I'm only going just to get out of the house.

"Well Tyler wanted to hangout with me and I really didn't want to..." I started telling her the whole story.

"What! He called you a bitch?!" She sort of yelled.

"Dani! Language, also no talking!" The teacher said.

"I don't care, I just don't want to talk to him or see him." I said, trying to see past Mrs. Edwards, but her big ass head is in the way.

"Well, don't worry we're gonna have a lot of fun." She smiled.

~After school~

"What exactly are we doing?" I asked them once we were all in the car.

"Well..."Dani started holding out the 'l'.

"Well what?" I asked wanting her to go on.

"We wanted to go to the carnival.." She trailed off biting her lip, scared of my reaction.

"Are you guys going on a date?" I smirked at Dani. She blushed bright red shaking her head back and forth.

"No! We're just going as friends, all of us." She said making it clear.

Ethan scoffed, which was the first noise he has made ever since we were in the car. I honestly forgot he was here, even though he's sitting next to me.

My phone started ringing, interrupting our conversations.

"Hello?" I asked into the phone. Dani looked back at me mouthing "Who is that?"

I held up my finger trying to listen to my mom.

"Ugh fine. Bye." I hung up on my mom, I'm angry and mad.

"Who was that T?" Gray asked looking in the rear view mirror and back to the road.

"My mom." I sighed.

"Well what did she say?" Dani asked.

"She said she's going to be home late, so now I have to babysit Luke." I rolled my eyes.

"So you can't come?" Dani asked pouting.

"Well I can but I'd have to bring Luke, and I'm sure you guys wouldn't want him around."

I was actually sort of upset since I did want to go and hangout with them, plus I haven't been to a carnival in forever.

"So, does this mean I don't have to go?" Ethan asked looking out the window. Grayson sighed sounding annoyed.

"E, you have to mom wants you out of the house." Ethan frustratedly sighed and leaned his head back on the seat. I rolled my eyes from how he was acting.

"Call or text me when plans change okay T?" Dani said out from Gray's window. I gave her a thumbs up heading into my house.

-few minutes later-

"MOM?!" Luke screamed throughout the house.

"What the hell! He does not need to be screaming like that." I said in my head.

"Luke shut up! Mom isn't home!" I shouted back, heading downstairs.

"But she was supposed to take me to my friends house!" He pouted, crossing his arms over his chest.

"That means I don't have to babysit you." I whispered.

"That means I don't have to babysit you!!" I yelled in excitement, running back upstairs to text Dani. She responded back seconds later saying she was excited. I also asked if they would bring Luke to his friends house.

"Thanks again for taking Luke to his friends house." I thanked Gray again.

I texted mom saying Luke was going to his friends house and that she left the address on the counter.

"Woah nice car!" Luke said as he climbed into the car.

"Thanks lil dude." Grayson said smiling at him. For the rest of the time I went on my phone answering people on snapchat and watching stories.

"Tum-Tums." Luke said. That was my nickname when he couldn't say my actual name, it stuck with him and now everyone has been calling me that.

Dani and Gray started bursting out laughing.

"Who's Tum-Tums?" Dani asked looking at Luke.

"Tatum, I call her Tum-Tums." He gave a cheeky smile, while kicking his feet back and forth.

I blushed and looked out the window so no one could see me blushing.

"Tum-Tums sounds cute." Ethan mumbled never taking his eyes off the window. I could tell it was his voice since Gray would've said it much louder.

"Hey guys!" Luke said, trying to get everyone's attention.

"Luke stop being annoying." I rolled my eyes, he's gonna say something dumb I already know it.

"Tatum is a hoe." He said smiling, like it was the best thing ever. My jaw dropped as everyone else started laughing, including Ethan. This is strange? Why is he acting like this all of a sudden?

"Luke you don't say that!" I replied, grabbing his stuff and helping him out of the truck once we made it to his friends house.

"Got everything buddy?" I asked him, while carrying his backpack.

"Yup!" He enthusiastically said. I said goodbye to Luke and gave his friends mom my phone number incase my mom couldn't pick him up.
