"Come on," called Zoryum as she flapped her wings and they nearly touched.

Aphron flew beside her and banked a bit to feet the air on her underbelly. He rumbled in amusement before he turned once more and spread out his wings as far as they could do. "I'm not as used to flying as you are," he pointed out as he flapped toward her.

Zoryum snorted in amusement and pawed at his ear. She rumbled in amusement and Aphron wouldn't admit how much he enjoyed it. He rose up and flew over her. He then flapped his wings down and they folded around her. She rumbled and flew up a bit, bumping him.

"Who taught you how to fly," asked Zoryum.

"What do you mean," asked Aphron as he picked up the pace and made a turn with Zoryum following.

"I mean that there were no other wolves in the palace, right? Yet you know how to fly." She pushed beside him and eyed his powerful wings.

"Well I suppose I taught myself," Aphron murmured although he hadn't really talking about it. "I know that Odin has a raven that I watched fly but no one specifically taught me."

She nodded in understanding. "Your father actually taught me," she confessed. "I had no idea that he had sons."

Aphron felt cold again but he wouldn't admit it. "I don't blame him. He probably didn't want to talk about it considering he gave us up."

"No," snapped Zoryum as she flew up in front of Aphron and forced him to stop. He fluttered his wings to keep himself steady. "Your father should have told the whole pack about you. Besides there was nothing wrong with you or your brother."

"My mother died and that's why he gave us up," Aphron told her as he flew under her. He didn't want to be left behind where he couldn't see the vessel.

"Do you really believe that," pressed Zoryum as she caught up to him and her eyes lit in understanding. "There were plenty other mothers that would have fostered you, mine included that even looked like you."

Aphron sighed since he really didn't want to talk about it. "Then I don't now the reason. Maybe everyone was right, maybe he didn't care enough about us."
