Wolves of Miscief (Loki Fanfiction)

Comfort

Thor knocked on the door of their room. Even though it was his he still felt like he should knock if Morali and Aphron were in there. Especially because they had requested they be alone.

"Come in," sighed Aphron. Thor and Loki pushed themselves in. They saw Aphron curled up into a ball at the end of Loki's bed. They also saw Morali on the floor, sprawled out and glassy eyed.

Thor pushed to his companion and sighed. "Oh Morali," he sighed deeply. "I'm so sorry that Odin acted that way."

Loki padded to Aphron's side and smiled a bit at Aphron. He saw that Aphron turned his head away from Loki and Loki frowned. "You shouldn't take it too hard," Loki told his friend. "I mean I'm sure father has a reason for not telling you two."

"But why," wined Morali as if he was much younger than he really was. "Does he think that we can't handle it?"

Thor shook his hand madly. "I'm sure that's not it. He has his reasons and I've learned not to question them."

Morali let out a snort. "Well I haven't," he snapped as he pushed himself to his paws. He lashed his tail and bristled his fur. He was beginning to look like a full grown Claw Wolf with massive claws and perky ears.

Aphron pushed himself to his paws and shook out his fur. He thrust out his wings and Loki realized that the wings were almost as long as Aphron was. He was much smaller than his brother but so was Loki in comparison to Thor.

"Do you think that we could find out about our parents by ourself," Aphron wondered as his tail wagged.

Thor and Loki exchanged a glance. "But we have no idea where Wolves live," Thor pointed out.

"We can find them," yipped Morali as he pressed against his brother. "Isn't Sif really good with this sort of thing?"

Loki nodded slowly. "I guess but-"

"Then let's go," called Aphron as he darted toward the entrance of the room with Morali following.

Thor and Loki realized that they really didn't have a choice. They reluctantly followed their companions in off in search of Sif.
