Loki bolted down the hallway with Aphron following. They pushed down the hallway and the sound of their feet and paws on the ground made clicking noises. Aphron suddenly butted his head against Loki's leg. Loki turned to look at him and Aphron made the illusion that he was Thor.
"Don't make me laugh," scoffed Loki as he leaned forward and cuffed Aphron's ear.
Aphron turned back to himself and spread out his wings a bit. They both turned the corner and Loki suddenly collided with something. Aphron sunk his claws into the ground and skidded to a halt. He looked up and gulped as he saw Frigga standing in front of them.
"H-Hi mother," stammered Loki as Aphron pushed his head against Loki's leg to help him to his feet.
"Hello Loki," she murmured gently as she stretched out her hand and grazed her son's cheek. Inwardly Aphron wished he had a mother as caring as Frigga. Actually he just wanted a mother period.
"Aphron and I were just about to play," Loki explained as he brushed off his mother's hands and allowed Aphron to push forward. His tail wagged a bit and Frigga laughed.
"Well can I talk to your first," asked Frigga as she kneeled down and looked at her son. "It's about something important."
Loki's heart dropped a bit and he exchanged a glance with Aphron. "What do you want to talk to me about," he asked with upmost respect in his voice.
"Your father told me you played a prank on him and his guards during a very important meeting," she murmured gently.
Loki frowned. "It was just a joke," he pointed out in defiance.
"I know but I didn't teach you to produce those illusions just to pull pranks on people. I showed you the power for protection purposes. It's not for amusement purposes Loki." Her voice was stern yet gentle.
Loki narrowed his eyes. "We were just having fun," he pointed out and Aprhon nodded in agreement.
"I know Loki but others are getting worried. They say that you aren't using the illusions wisely," Frigga explained but Loki really had no interest in listening.
"How can that be," Loki snapped as he turned to Aphron who he knew would nod in agreement. "I'm just doing what you taught me to do."
"You know that isn't true Loki," argued Frigga as she rose to her feet and peered down at her son and the wolf pup. "I just don't want you to use your illusions for foolish things."
Aphron looked to Loki who was just fuming in rage. "Fine then!" He then stomped away with Aphron following.
"Loki," called Frigga but he had no desire to turn around. He continued stomping forward and Aphron followed, struggling to keep up.
"She taught me that power and yet she doesn't want me to use it," snapped Loki as he rolled his eyes.
"Don't worry Loki. She just doesn't understand," Aphron growled as he stomped off, following his companion.
Loki narrowed his eyes to unforgiving slits. "No one understands and no one ever will."
