THEN... WE MET

Really?... What are we doing?

The kiss was deep, and just when tongues were about to get involved, they both came to their senses and parted.

"Oh my.. Alexander.. so you are now doing my cousin?.. Kara way to go.. now you want men like him if you are not a slut,a whore then I don't know what to call you, are you that thirsty and desperate for men? (Jessica spoke up showing disgust towards her cousin)

"Nice to meet you again Kara, and it's not to my surprise.. that you already got yourself a man! Wow you are really desperate!!" Nate said

"Um.. I got to say congrats to you my brother for finally moving on, and it is to my surprise that among all women it's her..she is a catch though." Moira added

After Alexander and Kara digested the words spoken by the three beings, who were now standing in front  of them.. Kara was first to speak up.

"First I want each of you to know, that this is my life and I Kara will choose how to live it, who is in my life right now it ain't your concern, you choose to see me as a desperate slut and a whore then so be it.. you know.. In a day like this.. you expect to be in a state of peace and happiness but that's gone already I guess."

After saying that she was about to leave when Alexander pulled her back and his hand slid on her waist.

"Now all of you.. are the needy ones, Kara does nothing to be noticed yet she gets noticed because her standard of value pulls thousands. In a crowd of many she outshines them, point is that she is unique and she does not even notices, she is a rare beauty and by saying that I will take my leave with my date."

Kara was speechless, Moira was proud of his brother and at the same time surprised by what he said as for Jessica and Nathaniel they were humiliated.

The two walked together until they came upon the Place.. Kara had previously wanted to celebrate her birthday.. that is THE FEEL OF NATURE.

"You can let go your hand on my waist now."

"Ohh sorry. "

There was silence for about two to three minutes before Kara spoke up

"Uhh..... thanks back there! "

"Nah.. do not thank me, I was trying to act good and protective so do not get so emotional over petty things. "

"Crap.. when will you stop this? "

"Stop what? giving you false compliments..,? OK then I will stop."

"Cut it out,will you?

"So....about the kiss.. It..

"Don't just don't. "

"Kara.. so what is you inner most prayer?

"What makes you think I will tell you.. Ha!!"

"So here is the genuine truth I don't like you and you don't like me but as the CEO of the hotel I need to provide my customers with comfort and great services, so that's the reason I asked you in the first place, it's not as if I am interested in your life."

"Is that why you kiss your customers to bring them a feeling of comfort? "

"I thought we were done with that topic."

"No no and no.. I was just waiting for a right time to bring it on."

"I kissed you because, I did not want Jessica to be all clingy to me, and I kinda did promise her the next time we meet if I was still single, then we would.. go down that road again but it was just a stupid promise I made when I was drunk."

"You could have take my hand and leave the area or you could have just tell her you are currently seeing someone but a kiss?  seriously a kiss? I think you had your motives."

"Do not try to play victim here, you so gave in and kissed me back or you do want to go  for a round two to see if you would resist or not?"

"Mr Safari please do respect me."

She was walking around loving every part of this area,it was so calm and this is what she prayed for when she let her eyes close.

When she opened her eyes, she looked around only to see Alexander sitting on a bench looking back at her.

"Were you watching me? " she asked him walking towards the bench he was sitting.

"You are one person with attitude but right now there you were in deep thoughts praying for the one thing you want most and you looked at ease and peaceful, so yeah I was watching you it was fun."

"You are such a kid! I need to go say my speech and goodbye to the guest."

"And why are you telling me this? "

Kara was frustrated with his attitudes so she began walking out of the area only to be followed back by him until they arrived back to the birthday.

Alexander called for silence and everyone was quiet.

"Our guest of honor here, has something she wants say so please do listen to her, Miss Kara you welcome."

She gave a smile to Alexander then turned back to the invited guests.

"I am grateful for the presence of everyone who took their time coming here, the fact that we can get to be together at events like this once in a time it's a blessing,so I would to take this moment to thank you so much for making my day worth to remember,Love you and thanks goes to everyone who worked hand in hand to make this event beautiful as it is,thanks."

After saying that she said her goodbyes to her old friends who were now leaving and some had even the nerve to tell her that, 'They are so looking forward to her wedding. '

After farewell greetings, she noticed the presence of Emily and Philips is nowhere to be seen. She went to her grandpa who was heading in the car

"Grandpa... you look tired."

But grandpa was staring at something else or someone else...
"Who is that man?"
She turned around to look only to see grandpa was staring at Alexander!

"Ohh.. that's the CEO of the hotel Alexander Safari."

"Is that so, OK then let's go back home am exhausted."

Kara tried to call both Philips and Emelia but their phones were not reachable,giving a frustrated sigh she got in the car and headed back home."

After taking a shower and wearing her night dress a message came in her phone,  she looked at it

So I left early in the party going back to business, but am really a wreck right now, she broke up with me, the moment I chose to be serious with her and this was what I was afraid of,so I am back to playing games, I was even stupid enough to look for a house so as I can live with her, I wanted her to move in with me here, but that was just me dreaming.
I hate this so much, I hate this fucked up feelings. I will be alright
