THEN... WE MET

It's okay... No It's nOt!!

"Revenge? What have you done so far killed a person, raped a kid? "Alex asked his sarcastic questions

"Come on, will you stop?... I just think for a person to be publicly known the possibility of having people hate you is really big, So maybe it's not that big of a deal right ? I think it's OK. "

"Huh!! Are you suggesting you will be safe tonight all alone in this room? "

"Are you trying to scare me? "

"Believe me sweetheart, I would love to but the person with a note took an earlier chance to."

"You.... uh... stay... then you can leave before dawn.. Deal? "

"You are making me sneak out of my own family hotel? what am I? "

"You do not want me answering that now do you?"

"Then I ask you to kindly beg me to stay!"

"Ha!ha!ha!....you are joking right?"

"Do I look funny to you?..well then if that's so I will be taking my leave now, see you at the gathering tomorrow Kara. "

He began taking little steps heading to the door, when Kara called on him with a Please, smiling at what Kara said he turned around.

"Did not hear you correctly. "

"Please Xander stay for the night! "

"Now that's a good one. "

Saying that , he let Kara head to the bedroom and she suddenly returned with a blanket and threw it at Alex then she told him

"The comfy coach will do! Goodnight. "

She did not let Alex utter even a word before she went back to the bedroom and locked the door, frustrated by that Alex laid down within no time both beings were fast asleep.

Next day..

At the Safari's

Eric and Joanna arrived at the house with their kids lucky enough Tiana was all better from last night fever.
They had a family breakfast afterwards Eric asked for Kara and where Alexander was.

"Well last night Alexander took Kara back to the hotel and he never returned I did say there is something between those two, they are just hiding so much from us."Moira spoke up

"Really? You think so daughter? Well it's about time Alexander settles he is too old already." Their mom added

Eric then said, "I think Alex went to sleep with one of his many women, and I highly doubt that Kara is one of his many women,so I will go check on her then head to the school afterwards will come for the party."

"Take care honey."Joanna said to him
She briefly kissed him but it turned to something more than brief as Eric did not want to let her go.

"ERIC!!! "his father called out his name

He let go his wife, and looked at his father who was staring back

"You go to your room to do that."

Moira and Joanna and Lara(their mother) all laughed at him.

"Ugh.. Dad.. Fine I am sorry.. then off I go, uhh I won't be touching you again miss(he pointed at his wife as he was saying goodbye to his sister and mom)"

Tatia and Tiana were playing outside, Eric gave both girls kisses on their foreheads before heading out.

Back in the house Moira and Joanna said their goodbyes too as they decided to go shopping so the house was empty with only the grandkids and grandparents

In the hotel

Kara woke up feeling so tired "What did I do to be tired like this? "(she thought)
Then she heard a smell a yummy one coming from the kitchen, when she went to take a look it was Alexander standing there shirtless frying sausages and eggs and at the table there was toasted breads with two glasses of passion juice.

"I did not know someone can change in a matter of seconds and be a gentleman.. Impressed. "

"Morning to you? Don't you greet people once you are awake? "

But she was out of sight, instead she went to play some music and it was a loud one...

"What the hell Kara? "
Kara just shook her head telling him she cannot hear him.. After finishing up Alex made sure everything is on the table then sat down and began eating, Surprised Kara ran towards him and took a seat

"Why you eating on your own? "
Alexander too shook his head as if not hearing what she is saying.

"Fine.. I will begin eating."

No words between the two were spoken they kept on eating until their door flung open, surprised they all turned just to be met by Eric

Kara hurried and turned off the volume,

"What is going on here I knocked there was no response until I asked one of the receptionist for a spare key,Alex care to explain?"

He looked at his brother then said "Am having breakfast. "

"Uh.. Eric it's not what it looks like, I asked him to stay but not till this hour(Alexander looked at her and smiled) somebody sent me a threatening note,so I got frightened and he was there so I just asked him to stay. "Kara explained

"Are you alright now? "Eric asked

"Am good thanks. "

"You two are like lost puppies, whats with  all the care and love ?

"Are you jealous Alexander? "Eric asked him.

With saying that Alexander took his shirt and wore it
"I think I will go bathe at home, my work is done. "

Without realizing it he found himself standing before Kara and kissing her forehead then caressing her cheeks for a short time then he headed out of the room. When he was out that's when realization hit him, "Crap.. she must think am a nut case, why did I do that in the first place?"(He thought)

Later that afternoon.. Eric was showing Kara around the school and meeting with kids of different ages, the kids were active, challenging it was fun for her, she then saw the library, and tried to measure up how many books ought to be added.

She learnt the kids there loved adventure, they defined life as an adventure and an adventure is Happiness, the feeling of learning what's out there ,the new things to experience and being free of self, so if she were to bring books then it will have to cover up those concepts .

Kara was invited back to the Safari's for the gathering party.. So she made sure to get ready in time so as to attend the party.

Before going to get ready she looked at the coach, "Mhhhh.. somebody left his watch, I will give it to him when I see him tonight. " Just then a text came in and it was Alexander.

"I AM COMING FOR MY WATCH! "

She did not bother texting back, she then went in her room took a shower then began wearing her simple dress that made her look not sexy or hot but just beautiful. She then heard a knock and went to open the door one hand trying to put on her earrings, when she opened the door before realizing it she was pushed so hard and went to hit the table, then the person came in and locked the the door.

"At last I get to see you again this close."the man said

Frightened Kara ran to where the phone was but before reaching it she was pulled back then her dress was stripped

"Oh... Oh my God...what are... Are... You doing? "

"The tabloids are so not mistaken for calling you a slut, if not willingly back then, right now I will apply force. "

She tried hard fighting him, but all he did was beat her up, in agony she cried seeking for help... But the man sealed her by kissing her violently... Tears slowly fell from her eyes.

"This is the only way, I will destroy your life for eternity. " The man said.
