THEN... WE MET

The Hospital...

So the whole family was there worried about Alexander, Kara was sitting in silence on a bench...

After the incidence Kara's grandpa took hold of his son who happens to be Kara's father as well. Who out from no where took a gun from the security and fired it...

Mr James David Reweta noticed his son's health and he looked in a very bad shape, so he asked for a tight security on him 24/7 back in the house.
The Safari's were astonished for everything that happened.

The media was going crazy, and Emelia had to rest for the gun and firing it brought shock and she somehow panic.
So Philips was with her back home before Joanna came in and told Philips

Joanna: it's OK, rest assured she will be well taken care of. You can now go see Kara and do not forget giving us the updates. "

Philips thanked Joanna, then kissed Emelia before he was out.

After sometime.. Emelia had began feeling a lot more better, so she sat down and ate the chocolates that Joanna brought. She loved to eat sweet stuffs since pregnancy.

Joanna: so now that you are up we can have a chit-chat....

Emelia: Yeah I guess.

Joanna: Was he like that (referring to Kara's dad)

Emelia: I hardly met him, but for a few times I did he seemed lost and so distance to Mr James David Reweta and his daughter. I never really knew what happened back then but am sure there was a past, we do not talk that much of her family when together. I feel a certain state of discomfort whenever I bring out the topic to her or someone else does.

Joanna : it's crazy you know, I mean the media is everywhere, the security has been increased but still.

Emelia :The only question to ask is why he is back now after all that while.

They looked at each other without any specific answer.

At the hospital Moira was like shouting to Kara before Eric came and took her away.

Moira and Eric.

Eric :what's with you?
Moira: the only person I feel angry with is her, what do you think?
Eric: I choose not to think of anything else other than the quick recovery of Alex and I think you should also think about it.

Moira remained staring at her brother with no right word to say to him rather than just nodding her head agreeing with him.

Mr Derek and Lara Safari had remained so calm, that scared the hell out of both Eric and Moira.
At the waiting place Philips had arrived, went straight to hug Kara who was still not so good in her condition.

Philips: baby cousin he will be fine, it's all going to turn out well.

Kara half smiled and looked at him

Kara: Is Emelia alright?

Philips: Look at you worried about others before yourself,she is better and she is with Joanna back home.

Kara: that's a relief.

After saying that came a doctor with results on Xander's condition. Making the whole family attentive.

Doctor: Nothing is there to worry about, it was just a minor injury, no any inner injuries we got the bullet out and soon he will wake up. He is now asleep the operation was successful.

Every body took out a heavy breathe that they were holding for such a long time.

About three hours later the Doctor returned and said

Doctor: The patient wants to speak with his wife, which I suppose that's you!"

He pointed at Kara, and after minutes of silence from everyone Kara stood up and went to see him.

She slowly got in, the room was huge and private one, she watched as he laid there eyes shut. She suddenly heard a tired almost fading voice call out on her.

"Come on Kara!! Get closer to me watching you so far away it's torture."

She smiled after hearing his voice, got close to him and hugged him making sure she was not hurting him anywhere.

As she wanted to pull away, Xander pulled her in for a kiss unexpectedly which turned really hot before Kara stopped it.

Xander : how I missed this!!

Kara: you are turning everywhere into a make out session, whenever we are alone.

Xander: isn't that how it's supposed to be?

They both laughed. Then Alex stared at Kara before speaking out.

Xander: what's the story behind?

Kara looked down on the floor before raising her head to look back at Alex.

Kara: He... uh... Just grew apart from me after my mother's burial. But he was such a sweet loving dad back then. The sad thing is me forgetting some of my past memories that had my mother's last days in it. All I know is something was disturbing them. "

Alex held Kara hand so tightly as a tear dropped from her eyes.

Alex: What I do not understand is why he aimed at shooting you and his lips said this sentence in a whisper which I am sure that the security guards who were holding him heard it too.. .He said 'I am sorry for this princess!'

Shock was plastered on Kara's face she did not know that her dad truly aimed at shooting her... just like that something crossed her mind.. It seemed like a memory..........

A sound of a gun shot then someone bleeding and this time she was certain it was not Alexander's body it was something else.. A woman... It was a woman...
