The Arrangements

"Yes that's her name I thought I already said it, before."

"So what are the things she wants for her birthday party. "

"First she is a fan of cultured stuffs, like the paintings hanging on the wall in the hotel rooms, and she loves nature, so about the venue I was thinking why not at the Feel of nature?"

"Making a good point,keep on.. "

"So she has some few friends and families attending a large area will not do."

"And when is her birthday? "

"Three days from now."

"Colour?"

"She chose a mixture of black and white. "

"Beautiful."

"Pardon? Did you just compliment her? "

"What? No.. I was just saying the colours are great! "

"OK then, any changes I will inform you, and by the way you might get some new nights stands at the party. "

"Mr Oliver where is the respect between the boss and his employee and since when do I go to visitor's party?"

"You don't but in this one you are personally invited by Miss Kara Reweta."

After saying that he left Alex staring at the door.

Later that evening Emelia stopped by, her Best friend's house,she always had a spare key if the front door was locked, so right before she tried to open it, it flew open and revealed a half naked guy with only his shorts and a bare chest. Emelia just stared at him which it looked like forever but Philips broke the silence.

"I did not know that I attract you that much, and leave you speechless too mhhhh."

"Shut up.. Just shut...up.. Where is Kara I thought she would be here. "

"Well you thought wrong but she will be coming pretty soon,come on in."
  Emelia stepped inside only to be pulled into a hug by Philips "Wh...what are you doing? "Emelia spoke underneath.

"Hugging you of course.. Sweet love of God I missed You!! "
He snuggled to her neck and before Emelia is alerted, Philips kisses her neck passionately,making Emelia escape a soft moan, just when she wanted to pull back Philips crashed his lips to her and kissed her making her knees go weak, it got intense and Emelia found her self kissing him back (Philips smiled in his head) as they were so into it just when Philips is about to bite her lip, Kara came in and is welcomed by a surprise of his cousin kissing a girl who her back was facing Kara.

"Oh my!! I was gone for like few minutes  Philips.. Get a room."

That's when they parted ways and Kara's eyes landed on her best friend.

"Now this is a happy scene, should I leave so you can get it on? Did not know it was you Emelia!! "

Emelia tried to speak but no words came out, she looked down at the floor.

"So then to what pleasure do I owe for the late visit? "

"Its about all the arrangements on your birthday."

All that while Philips was just staring at Emelia admiring her.. And it made Emelia so uncomfortable

"So let's begin.. Excited. "said Kara

"Does he not have anywhere to be? Emelia asked

"You want me to have a place to be Emy luvvvv? Or is it that I make you.. uncomfortable in a good way."

Emelia knew what he said was true but covered it up the a hell no face that managed to fool Philips who later left a bit furious.

"Remind me again why the two of you are not together? "

"He is a jerk, womanizer and of course I don't like him."

"Liar, you do like him and a lot I can say but you are just afraid of his habits. "

"Fine but today am here to speak on the cards, number of people to be invited and about the cake.

"Cards well I gave the sample to Philips so in that area he is taking care of it. "

"About the cake, mhhhh let the flavour be ginger spicy cake."

"The people?"

"Less than two hundred more than one hundred! "

"Noted."

"Emelia tomorrow and the day after I will be at my mom's grave so all the arrangements hope they will successful be done."

"Oh OK then. "

"I will be going with grandpa. "

"Wow the old man will be happy indeed! "

"So about you and Philips....

"Not today please..oh I heard you invited the CEO of the Safari's Home hotel."

"Yes I did, am looking forward to meeting him. "

"You do know he is one gorgeous hunk."

"You are the first telling me to settle down on my own, here I am hearing you give praise to this hunk what do you need me to do, seduce him? "

"If you want to.. go ahead! "

"You nuts, and.... Why have I never seen him around,like in events even his name it's not popular to me. "

"Oh come on Kara you chose not to know him, anyways you rarely notice prominent people not surprised then you will get to see him on your birthday."

"I guess so. "She was about to stand up but Emelia grabbed her hand

"Ohh God we are planing the events and forgetting to plan you! "

"Planning me? What do you mean? "

"What you will wear, what kind of make up will you put on, the shoes.. Crap the day after tomorrow you better come early for we are going shopping, understood?"

"Yes yes I heard you! "

"Am not staying for long and you need to come see my apartment, I love it myself. "

"I will come or I might tell Philips to come by. "

"Hell no! Why do you have to be this way can you please let it go? "

Alexander was walking around the Feel of nature.

Feel of nature was a place in the hotel that so relaxed ,full of green grass and the only sounds you can hear is birds and wind blowing,it was his favourite place to be.

Just by standing there and feel the smell of nature it brought him so many old memories he used to cherish like family, he missed them too,but he was just not ready to face them. He looked around and said to himself in the head

"This place needs to be off limits for parties, it was never my idea to conduct an event here, it is simply for a person to relax one's own mind,the birthday venue needs to be changed."(he thought)

Before taking out his phone and calling the number he was given to by Mr Oliver.

It rang three times then it was picked up

"Yes hello? "

"Is this Kara Reweta?"

"Yes this is she, and who are you? "

"Alexander Safari."
