"I did say the word might! "Eric defended himself.

"What's that supposed to mean?" his mother questioned.

"It's just like saying he will not come."Moira added.

They went back into staring at Eric

"What? speak to your son both of you(he pointed at his parents) and you! speak to your brother(pointed at Moira)

His father took a sit and began reading a newspaper that was on the table.

Lara stared at her husband unbelievably seeing him so calm while their son was slowly perishing from them.

"You know this happened the minute Derek decided to leave his half legacy to Alexander, he was never like this, look at him now.. I.. I have not seen him for almost two years now!"(she shouted at her husband)

Yet he was still calm as if he had not heard anything that was being said.

"Derek say something!!will you?"

Moira and Eric just stared at the beautiful scene before them, for they knew how it will end,same old fights.

"Lara come on, we all know you were the source of all this, if you had just let my son enjoy his own life then maybe he would have come up with something more productive in his personal life."

"What?"

"You forced him into arranged dates and marriages,and all he did was make you happy but look what happened, the first arranged marriage ended in agony after Olivia killed their own child!  and the second marriage... well do you still want me to continue? "

"Enough" Lara stood up and went in the kitchen Moira followed back.

Eric took a seat beside his father and looked at him.

"You know it's no one's fault right? he just needs space."

"How much space? We gave him enough already.."

"Did you?three marriages all ending in tragedy is not a simple thing to overcome."

"Almost two years have passed by Eric and he seems so far away still."

"He will come around,i know it...i just know it."

SAFARI'S HOME HOTEL

IT was the hotel handed down to Alexander Safari who happens to be the second son of the Safari's.

He brought culture the feeling of belonging and the feeling of comfort in the hotel.
Tourist and prominent people were so intrigued by it. It held so much beauty outside and even on the inside.

He was in his Suite buttoning his shirt when hands at the back slid inside his shirt, frustrated he turned around to look at the woman.

"What now?"

"Do not go yet, we could do some more interesting activities babe, what do you say? "

"As tempting as it is, I want you fully dressed and out of my suite I have far important things to do and sign important deals."

"Well and here I thought I would be your fourth wife."

Upset right now he stared at her,she watched anywhere else but his eyes, then she kept on speaking

"Well that's what everyone says you marry whoever gets you satisfied and here I was thinking a fortune was just a step away, disappointed I must say. "

"Just get dressed. "
 
As he reached the door he turned around and said,"You were the least of my satisfaction I had. "

She was left broken,ashamed and embarrassed, she took a long bath enjoying herself in a luxurious life that only lasted for a couple of hours. After that she got dressed and was escorted outside with one of the trusted bodyguards of Alexander.

ALEXANDER SAFARI

Was one of the young successful entrepreneurs, he always loved doing something a bit different in every little activity he had. He was now 29 years old, his birthday on 19 of May was celebrated with only him and his two friends that is the trusted bodyguard(Leo) and Mr Oliver Samuels.

His one friend was not around (Brian) yet those two made it simple and satisfying enough. Alexander respected Mr Oliver a lot .Apart from the old age he had, yet Alex loved listening to his words they always brought up something good in him. As for Leo he got lucky or they got lucky with each other. He had a miserable life after loosing his young sister who was abused until death, he became an alcoholic, he would engage himself in fights and when he won he was paid up.

FLASHBACK*****

Two years ago Leo witnessed,a man being beaten to death by a group of men who seemed like gangs and a lady watching the scene, then he heard the lady said,"We will just throw him on that bridge(she pointed at the bridge that was a bit far),and will be done and the fortune will be ours, am still married to him."

The men stopped attacking him and they began walking with him towards the bridge, Leo secretly followed them, when they made their stop at the bridge,  as they wanted to lift him up and throw him,the lady stopped them

"Well,well,well with all of your glory Alexander Safari you are going to die a petty death.. Such a pity but before that a little this will do."

She stabbed him, then ordered the men to throw him off, but before anything happened Leo ran to the rescue and began beating up the men,at the same time Alexander got the strength to escape from the man who was holding him and took the knife from Sara's hands and pulled her closer holding the knife to Sara's neck.

"Stop the.. Fi.... Fights.. I've got your favourite diamond with me.. Now!!... this.. Lady.. he.. re.. fooled....you.... I just..... divvvoo... rced her this.. morning,the only money she has.. It's .....that i choose.. to..... to give.. her.

The men stared at the girl furiously they were bleeding and so was Leo, just when they wanted to make a move on Alex then they heard police cars rushing in their area. They cursed underneath,furious at Sara who lied to them and the fact that there is a chance of them getting arrested. In a matter of seconds they got in their van dragging Sara with them and driving off.

Just then the police arrived, when they got out the first person to be captured was Leo.
"What the hell men!! I.. Was the one who called you people! Are you nuts?"

"Let......hi... him go."said Alexander

"Mr Alexander are you OK? We can rush you to the hospital. "

As they approached him, he stopped them by raising his hand.

"You.. See... gentlemen, the only ....help you can give is to shut...... your mouth and not .....a word of this..... to anyone..... and of course a lift...... this....this.....man here will take.......good care of me."

Bewildered by Alex words, Leo took a deep breathe, then the police nodded in response and drove them to Leo's place after getting out, Alexander waved at the polices and gave a thank you.

Right after they left it did not take a minute Alexander collapsed. Leo did his best into nursing him and for two days he became better but not recovered.

Alex got to call Brian and informed him that he was safe. And he will be taking a break from work for three weeks.

And within the three weeks Leo became a good buddy to Alex though he was still drinking a lot,Alexander learnt Leo had really good skills in fighting and well he did have integrity, they become friends and the rest is history.

Alexander walked into his office only to find Mr Oliver sitting on the coach waiting for him.

"At last you arrived, we have got an upcoming birthday party of a prominent person, and if you are wondering it's a she, Her name is Kara Reweta.

He repeated after Mr Oliver

"Kara Reweta."
