Visiting hours at the hospital were almost up, and she well let's just say she was running late AGAIN!
her grandpa laid on the bed listening to his best music back in the 70's, speaking of him Mr David Reweta was indeed a strong man at the age of 80+ was still able to clean his own room, to cook his own breakfast and well to do his favourite activity reading books,that has to be one of his things that his granddaughter inherited.
He looked at the watch on the wall, "where is this little kitten of mine am starving for crying out loud". He whispered to the nurse who was attending him and who saw happens to be the friend of his granddaughter they Did go to highschool together back then.

So Emelia who was attending her friend's grandpa knew that Kara was to be late again so she went back to her office came with food and offered it to the old man,David looked at her and said,"I guess she is not coming" Emelia quietly nodded her head.

An hour later the old man had eaten and fell asleep, Emelia returned to her office packing her stuffs just then her phone rang, "well... Well...well look who is calling now! "
She answered it, "yes hello?"

"How is he? "

"Much better I can say"

"You are not mad at me too right?"

"Ughhh you know I cannot.. I mean I do not have the right, I respect whatever it is you are doing"
Both stayed calm for a couple of minutes and then... Kara spoke up,

"So ugh.. I am.. Well how can I say this... Umm I got engaged! "

SILENCE****

"hello? Emelia you still there? Uh hello heloow? Eme.... {before finishing up Emelia hung up}

KARA'S POV

"I can not believe she did that, I mean that is supposed to be good news right?and my best friend got to be like yeeiiiii!!!! Am happy for you.. But this one just freaking hang up she really hang up on me!! Why..?? Who I am I kidding I myself am literally screaming inside that what am doing is nuts.. But I need this, with all the publicity I need to have a clean settled life! Right Kara.. You are doing just fine, it is absolutely OK! Yes it is".She convinced herself.

After a 45 minutes there was a knock on Kara's door,  she stood up from the library heading to the door,the housekeepers were sent home for two days, so it was her and the house.. She was used to being alone, her childhood was spent like that, at first she was afraid... But as days went on she stopped crying and missing people, she knew that people do not last forever so she became OK with the idea of the loved ones leaving.. It built her and now it was just do normal for her,.
As she reached the door and unlocked it a fuming lady bursted in straight to the living room  throwing her bag to the coach and turning back to look at her insane best friend Kara.

Kara said, " Well that was quick!! I thought by tomorrow early in the morning you would be here but anyways welcome to our humble home".

"Do not give me that shit! I want straight explanation as to what happened in your business trip, you were like gone for months and returned three weeks ago now when, how and where did all this take place?  I mean are you trying to kill your grandpa.. For crying out loud kara this.. If this is going to push through it will be like your third wedding right? Right? "

Kara just faced down, she knew and understood the shock her grandpa will be in when he learns about this.
It was indeed going to be her Third wedding that is if it will push through...

She is not even 30 yet! She is just going to be 26 pretty soon and well she needed a clean reputation or else she would lose what she fought to build.
