THEN... WE MET

Family.. Family!

Emelia had just finished speaking to Mr Oliver Samuels who is an old employee in the hotel of SAFARI'S HOME

"So when is the date again young lady? "

"Three days from now, that is 20 of July"

"Will make the most of it!"

"I believe in the works of these hotel employees and of course in the work of their boss"

"Well the boss is one pretty hard person we got to deal with,but is also one person we never want to lose. "

"It's settled then Mr Oliver, I will inform the birthday girl on every little details we spoke of and the changes that will be made.

"See you soon,miss Emelia. "

"I did say you call me Emelia, anyways it was a pleasure."

With saying that the two parted ways and Emelia was heading back to work. As for informing Kara that will be done tonight(She thought)

SEEK WHAT YOU LEARN was a family thing that began with Kara's great grandpa who was a lover of books and it was then inherited by his offsprings.

Coming up with ideas of what to write on life inspirational books was one hell of a problem.. it seemed like almost everything has been written by so many other authors. Kara who was now sitting at her office having a container full of fruits, was trying to figure out on what new thing to write that maybe just maybe will be different from others.

Not a single idea popped up!

"This is exhausting.. Ugghhh! "

Like is it that hard, to just have an idea running in my mind right now! Somebody.. Anybody.. Heeeeelppp! (She thought)

Just then a call came in.

"Yes helow? "

"Will you stop being formal even to your favourite cousin? "

"Ohh Philips!! Is that you?"

"Nahh just some wrecked up kid! "

"Will you stop it already, so are you by Any chance about to... (Before she could finish up the door flung open revealing her one and only cousin Philips)

Kara almost jumped on her chair with excitement,she walked towards him and gave him a very tight hug that almost seemed to last for 10minutes which in real sense just took a couple of seconds.

"Look at you turning gorgeous and sexy in a very minute! "

"Shut up!you never stop with your stupid compliments. "

"Ohh are they?  Just admit you love my compliments on you.. "

"Nah.. Maybe Emelia will!"

Now that made Philips shut up.

Here is a funny story,Philips met Emelia just after Kara graduated,and just like that he was smitten with her but Emelia rarely noticed him. To Emelia he was just some guy who loved skirts more than anything,a party person  so wild and would do anything to get what he wanted but who also happens to be the favorite cousin of Her best friend.

"So about your birthday.. What can I do for my baby cousin! "

Just like that he changed the topic to something else, Kara noticed and giggled but she let it slip by.

"You never get tired of that name do you?"

"Come on I held you the minute you were born! "

Kara rolled her eyes

"You merely did, you just held my finger and touched my toes."

"Now what's the difference, same same thing to me!"

Philips was nuts,hilarious and charming as hell one of the things Kara so loved about him.

"So how is Jessica and Hilary doing?"

"Well they will be coming tomorrow and on how they are doing I was not In touch with them. "

"Cruel much? "

"Now you tell me what's cruel about that?"

"Let me ask you when was the last time you talked to them? "

"A year ago! "

"And you find that absolutely OK, huh what a cousin I got here! "

"OK then let me ask you when was your last time to invite them in anything? "

SILENCE***

"Two years ago."(she mumbled but was still heard)

"Huhh ha!-ha!-ha! whose so so so Bad right now. "

"Fine we are both mean! "

"And true to ourselves Kara! Come here for a second hug..ohh how I missed you! "

"I missed us! "(she said in a hug)

The SAFARI'S

Moira got out of bed and went straight down stairs for a cup of tea, on her way down the stairs, she had that flashback again, it scared her just then she felt a hand holding her when she turned to look it was her brother ,she was relieved.

"I will walk you down. "

"Thanks."

The kitchen was so empty with almost nothing.

"Eric you need to go do some shopping right away before they wake up! "

Just then,they saw someone entering with lots and lots of plastic bags full of different items. Both Moira and Eric shouted.

"MOM!! "

The old lady(Lara) turned to look at her children with a smile.

"What? I just did a housewife duty, and if I remember correctly I am the co-owner and woman of this house. "

"Here we go again with the same excuse."said Moira

Eric quickly ran to where his mother was and helped her with some of the bags then called two other maids to come and take the rest.

Moira had gone to take a glass of cool water and handed it to her so tired mom.

"Wow you were really thirsty."

After putting the glass down, she turned to Moira who was looking at her.

"I heard you had a one night stand with a person's fiancee. "

"Ohh God!, is it Alex who told you so? urghh this is frustrating."

"You broke an almost wedding and how do you feel? Shame on you! "

"Mom first it was not my intention,second I did not know if he had a fiancee and third the guy is a douche,like what man in his right  mind leaves a girl like her!have you seen her mom?she is gorgeously beautiful am not used to give compliments but I got to say when I spot something rare like that! "

"Ohh you are now complimenting on a girl's life you kind of ruined?So you broke things off with the guy?"

"Well about that... No.. I mean.. I will. "

Her mom was shocked, her baby got to be nuts to still have a fling with that guy.

"You better break it off soon. "

Eric returned and said to them

"About the family re-union in three days Alex might not be coming."

Just then Derek Safari(husband and father) came downstairs and all of them (Moira, Derek and Lara)found themselves questioning Eric

"AGAIN?"
