THEN... WE MET

The Safari's and She...

The staring contest continued between Alexander and Kara till when Derek(his father) made a cough,

"What are you people?are you on a hunt? "he questioned his son

Alex took a deep breathe and said, "I am just wondering what the hell is she doing here? "

"That's our guest have some manners Alex! "His mother  added

"Well, well, trouble in paradise?  You do know I mentioned before that there was this thing between my brother and a girl named Kara? "

Both Alexander and Kara astonishingly looked at Moira who seemed very relaxed, enjoying the meal after saying that.

"I.. I.. am really sorry Mr and Mrs Safari for causing the trouble, I think it's best if I head to the hotel. "

"Somebody is thinking straight."Alex whispered but his parents heard him and they both yelled his name, "Alexander!!!!"

"Come on take a sit. "Eric said directing her where to sit and once she sat down, she found herself facing Alexander, 'this evening couldn't get any worse'(she thought)

After the awkward moment later everyone was quiet eating until Derek broke the silence.

"So Kara is it? "
She nodded her head agreeing with him

"Tell me what you engage yourself to? "

"Well, I ran a company of books, it's a family thing but my passion as well, we write, publish and sell them "

"That's really beautiful. " Lara added

"And since the school needs more expansion of library, I thought why not change the types of book I have and giving children a wider opportunity to read books of their choices when it comes to life aspects, so I invited her here. "Eric explained himself.

"That is really good. "his father said

"I just love your brain sometimes brother." Moira smiled at Eric and turned to Alex for his opinion to what Eric had said.

And all other family members kept their eyes on him, he looked at Kara who was smiling in a devish way.

"Nice." was all he said before going back to his plate and kept on eating.

After an hour Kara was giving her farewell and thanking them for such a beautiful dinner.

Eric had left right after dinner after his wife called saying Tiana had a fever, so the only person who was forced to take Kara back to the hotel was no other than Alex, by the time Kara was saying her goodbyes he was already outside waiting for her.

When she was out, Alex immediately took her hand walking her to the parking lot

"Get in the car. "

"Well aren't you a gentleman."

"If you think I got time to waste opening for you that door, dream on, got far more important things to do than that. "

Frustrated she got in the car so did Alex and they drove off.

The whole journey was extremely quiet, no one talked to the other and everyone on both sides preferred it that way, when they made a stop at one of their hotels Kara was fast asleep, Alex stopped his hand from waking her when he saw she was extremely tired, so he waited for her to wake up on her own.

He(Alex)got out of the car, the minute he was out, Kara opened her eyes looked around and saw they had arrived she too got out only to find Alexander at the reception talking to one of the ladies there smiling, she walked till to where Alex was and sneezed so loudly that it brought all the attention she wanted.

Alex asked her, "Are you alright? "

"You left me in the car,knowing how exhausted I must have been, you just left me in that kind of seat Now my neck and back ache a lot, satisfied? And here you are flirting around huh! no wonder you will never be your brother!!"

All the receptionist stared at both of them some to the guests who were passing by, 

One of the receptionist said, "Uh Sir is she your  girlfriend? "

Alex turned to them, "Shut it will you? Give me the keys and get back to work I think the stories ends here, (he turned back to Kara who was looking around here and there) and you come with me. "

They walked together in the lobby to the elevator until they made a stop on the floor to which Kara's room was located.

Alex then made a stop and turned around to face Kara

"You know you are really dumb, why the hell would you yell at me at the reception area like that, those are my employees and I do have pretty well established friendship with them, stop acting like a jealous, hungry annoying girlfriend seeking for attention. "

"Am not that, and why did you bother explaining it,  it is none of my business anyways. "

As Alexander moved close to her and wanted to speak suddenly somebody took a picture, not a picture but pictures

"Damn it." Alexander said as he hurried up to open the door and pull Kara in then locking it.

"These people are never fed up, this is frustrating. "

Kara looked at him and smiled, "Who asked you to bring me here, you could have given me the key and I would have known my way as long as I could be directed by one of the receptionist there. "

Alexander looked at her and said while gritting his teeth, "You ungrateful bitch. "

"Oh come on now, little baby is upset! "

Alex decided to be quiet then there was a knock on the door, Kara went to open it and it was one of the waiters asking if she would like to have any soft drinks, she refused but then the waiter said, "And by the way Miss Reweta this is for you. " He handed her a note after that she closed the door and locked it again.

"What is that on your hand? "

"Uh one of your employees gave it to me, perhaps he is smitten by me.. "

Alex laughed," Just open it already.."

"Somebody is excited than I am.. OK let's see what it has to say. "

She opened it and found words saying,

I KNOW THAT YOU ARE HERE

        SO LONG MY LOVE!

Kara was devastated, Alexander took it from her after he saw the look on her on her face. After reading it, he looked back at Kara who was shaking. Alex went and wrapped his arms around her .

"Hey it's OK, must be some random guy who wants attention nothing serious. "He said while patting her back she hid her head on his neck breathing heavily

"Oh God! Kara.. I know you are scared but right now it's not the time to turn me on, those heavy breathing of yours on my neck really have an effect on me. "

"I.. Did not know.. I  ...i am sorry. "

"It's okay."

After he let her go she said, " I do not think it is just a mere person, this person is out there to get me  I received a call, back home and he said he knows me and he is waiting for me here, I thought it was a reporter but now something is tell me otherwise. "

"So this person what does he/she want from you? "

"REVENGE. "
