Dipper Pines tossed and turned in his bed. And what do you say about joining us, becoming a hechmaniac? He'd dreamed last night because of what Bill said to him the night before. He wanted to go back to sleep and shove the day away. But the wave of pleasurable sleep just wouldn't come to him.
Dipper sighed and threw back his covers. This wouldn't help anything. He ignored the plate of bacon on his table and hobbled over to the bathroom, turned on the shower, and hopped in.
He was so, so thankful for this water. He never really liked bathing before—but after trying to survive on his own in those henchmaniac-infested streets, he wanted to wallow in the clean water forever.
He reminded himself that there were still people in Gravity Falls who did not have clean water. He frowned and quickly washed himself, turning off the water soon afterward.
He decided to try and explore again. He still had not yet figured out all of the escape routes. Dipper'd only had just devised one when he walked down those enormous, rainbow-filled stairs from his room.
He put on his casual wear and slid outside, a piece of bacon in his mouth. He ran down the stairs as fast as he could, trying not to catch the other demons' attention. He carefully looked around for Bill too, he kind of dislikes him very much right now.
He finally found the hallway before entering the throne room. Dipper puffed out a breath of relief. There was no one around. He dodged the exhilarating, mesmerizing, towering gates of the room that made him feel like an ant and ran further down the wide hall, the rainbow lights slipping through the crack making him look colorful.
He now stood in front of a pair of doors smaller than the throne room gates, but it still made him feel ever so small. What was behind these doors? He reached for the handles and pulled, but it didn't open. This just made his curiosity spark even more. The boy tried and tried again but no avail. He turned his back to the doors and slid down it and onto the floor, defeated.
He saw a shadow of the corner of his vision. His eyes darted instinctively and recognized the henchmaniac before he actually came into view. It was Kryptos. Relieved to see an actual friendly face, he stood up and brushed the dirt off of his shorts.
The navy blue diamond put his gloved hands behind his back and cheerfully smiled at him, his two teeth gleaming in the light. Dipper still was not used to the shape having a mouth. He waved a hand toward the huge doors. "You're trying to get into the library, I see? Luckily for you, kid, I have a key!" his reverberating voice chided happily as he revealed a rusting key in his hand.
Dipper couldn't contain himself. "Bill has a library?" He grinned and bounced on his heels happily. Kryptos just chuckled and easily slid pass the boy to put the key into the lock.
"And,"-click,"There we go!" Kryptos ushered him in. They both went inside the pitch black darkness and waited. Kryptos finally snapped his fingers and the candles inside lit on fire, illuminating the entire library.
Dipper gaped up in awe. The place was huge. The library had three mezzanines, the floors and ceilings the same design as the interior in the rest of the Fearamid. There were many comfortable places to read, it looked like. There were couches and swings hanging from the mezzanines and the place had a very comfortable atmosphere in general. And oh, the books! There were so many!
Dipper turned to Kryptos to ask something, but Kryptos left with the door open. Dipper grinned. He started from the far end of the library, which took two minutes to fast-walk to, and picked up a book on demons. It was kind of what he was expecting, but he wanted something he could actually read, like a mystery novel or something. He picked up a book on the end table in that area and flipped through it.
His head began to throb. He ignored it as allergies and he began to read the background of one demon named Erawan or something. He turned the page and his eyes landed on a name: Tad Strange. He felt his head getting hot and his brows knit together. The pain worsens, and he puts the book down and sits in one of the chairs. Words fill his head...
You will never escape me.
You will never escape me.
You will never escape me.
Dipper then feels wetness drip onto his shorts--a nosebleed. His breathing turns quick and shallow and the corners of his vision starts to turn black. The last thing he sees is a warm, yellow glow fill the room. The last thing he thinks of before he passes out is that he was glad he sat down.
