18. Soul

Genji's POV

I hear Angela begging Hana to return. "God dammit! We are losing her!"

Tears are being shed.

"HANA! YOU CANT DIE! I PROMISED JACK! I PROMISED HIM THAT I WOULD PROTECT YOU FROM ANY HARM!... please... PLEASE COME BACK TO US!" Angela cried out.

Suddenly, a warm aura hit me. Almost like.. a spirit.

My eyes widened, "Hana..."

At that moment, I knew she was dead...

"Her soul... I can see her soul..." Angela said with a screeching cry. "I CANT LET HER DIE! I MUST!..."

"Angela it is too dangerous! Look what happened to the others!" Ana tried calming her down, but it was no use.

From a few feet away, Genji fell on to his knees. He felt Hana's warm touch. It was as if she was caressing his cheek and telling him it will be okay. Tears fell down his cheek, "oh Hana..please don't go.. please stay..."

A white misty female figure appeared in front of Genji. The cyborg looked at the figure and smiled, "I love you Hana..." The figure kneeled down and kissed Genji on the forehead. A soft angelic whisper was heard, "I...love...you..."

A breeze came in and swept the figure away.

Genji stayed on the ground crying. He buried his head into his knees. But in the background a yell was heard from Angela.

"HEROES NEVER DIE!...."

"NO ANGELA!!!" Ana yelled out trying to stop her.

Everyone looked over to were the healers where. A yellow beam of light struck Hana's body. The body began to float in the air. The blood disappeared, and the arrow disintegrated. A few minutes later, Hana's body slowly began to hover back down onto the ground. Mid way, Genji stood up and ran to Hana. He jumped into the air and grabbed her.

Cradling her in his arms, he whispers, "Hana.. please wake up..."

Angela and the others stood back and watched as the cyborg tried waking up the sleeping beauty.

Genji caressed her cheek, then gently pressed his lips against hers.

A minute later, Hana woke up and gasped for air. Genji's eyes widened with tears of joy, "Hana... you're alive..." Hana looked around. She was confused. "What's going on?" Genji explained everything that had happen.

"But don't worry! You're alive...!" He paused and gently smiled at her, "I am glad you're alive..."

Hana pulled in Genji for a kiss.

In the background, everyone cheered. Hugs, smiles, and sighs of relief broke out.

The team swarmed in and hugged Hana.

"My god you're alive!" Angela hugged her with tears of joy. Hana smiled and hugged her, "thank you..."

Suddenly Hana remembered.
