The second I walked into the apartment, my mother was in my face.
"Namjoon, hurry and take off your uniform so I can wash it. You only have two sets." She said quickly.
"Okay mom, give me a second." I went to my room and undressed from my school uniform into pajamas.
"How was school Namjoon?" My father asked from the kitchen.
"Well..." A lot happened today, it's hard to sum it all up into a emotion. "Pretty cool." I smiled, leaning on my hand.
"We heard that billionaires go to your school oppa, is it true?!" My younger sister, Yuni excitedly jumped beside me. She was 11 years old, and for some reason she thought of Hoseok of a better brother figure.
"I don't know. Are there?" I asked.
"How do you not know?! They go to your school, oppa~!" She whined.
"Calm down Yuni, his first day was probably stressful enough without all of your shouting." My mother scolded and walked into the kitchen to help my dad with dinner.
"But mom~!" She whined and followed behind her.
"Ah ah, no more whining Yuni."
"I wasn't spoiled like this." I chuckled from the dining table. Yuni walked over me and plopped down next to me.
"How do you not know? They're supposed to be so beautiful that all the girls can't even focus on their work." She mumbled.
"I mean there are a few kids like that I guess. They get everyone's attention though."
"Ask how much money they have oppa! Do you have their numbers?!" She ran to my room to get my phone.
"No, even if they were billionaires, I wouldn't ask people I just met for their phone numbers."
"Think about how much money we'd get if Joonie married a billionaire." Mom tried to discreetly whisper to dad.
"Mom~! They're boys anyway, don't you care about that?"
"Money doesn't have a gender, marry a boy if you want Namjoon." My father smiled.
"But tell me if he has a friend." Yuni whispered to me.
"You're 11 years old. Go color or something." I chuckled.
"Where do you see coloring books?" She looked around sarcastically.
"I'll go out and find a job tomorrow. I want you to experience childhood, I'm getting you coloring books."
"Make the table kids, the food's almost ready." Mom announced. We moved to set the plates and chopsticks.
"You don't need to get a job Namjoon, when my pay comes in, everyone's getting a coloring book." My father chuckled as he brought in the rice. My mother came next with ramen and chicken.
"Don't get used to this chicken, it's only my leftovers from the work party. I tried to take as much as I could." Mom chuckled.
"We've had ramen all week, once I get a job too, we'll have enough money to buy the expensive BBQ chicken." I gloated, taking some ramen into my bowl.
"Wah, wouldn't that be the life?" My father sighed.
"Just marry the rich oppa already so we can be happy." Yuni said to me while munching on the chicken.
"No matter how much money he has, if he hurts my Joonie I'm coming at him with a frying pan." Mom threatened, making us laugh.
"I've met a nice person, not sure if they're rich or not. But I think I like them." It's the first time I've seen him ever. But I do believe in love at first sight.
.Jin.
"I know that I went shopping yesterday, but I want to go again this weekend. You guys want to come?" Taehyung asked.
"Are you buying us stuff too?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow.
"Of course not." Tae shook his head.
"I'd love to." He smiled.
"Guys, this isn't what I called you over for." I sighed.
"But this is what I came over to talk about." Yoongi retorted.
"Yoongi." I said with a threatening glare.
"Fine hyung, what do you want?" He sighed.
"Before I move to my next idea, can you at least try to be less abusive?"
"I don't understand, if you wanted us to stop, you should have talked to us before. Why now when we've got new students?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
"Because I said so." I looked at the both of them. "Now get yourselves together. Stop acting like children. Go home guys." I waved them off with a friendly smile.
"You're being so annoying." Yoongi sighed. "You're worse than the only sober one at a party."
"I have been the only sober one at a party because I have to take care of you two. And that was before you were even legal." I pointed my finger at Taehyung. He wasn't even supposed to be a senior, he paid the school to bring him up a few grades, they only agreed if he lived with a personal tutor so he'd still learn something.
"Don't call us here for this again hyung." Yoongi looked over at me.
"And how are you supposed to stop me?" I cross my arms.
"I won't stop you, I just won't come." At that, he left.
"Hyung, why do you keep standing up for them. They're poor, they aren't worth your time." Taehyung shook his head.
"I said go home Tae." I repeated. He sighed and left my bedroom. I don't know why I was acting like this to be completely honest. Putting all of my time into one student. What's wrong with me?
.Yoongi.
I sighed and got into my limo. He's an annoying hyung.
"Take me home, I need to see my Holly." I sighed to my driver as he drove off. I can't believe that he's the one to tell us to leave them alone. Hypocrite.
I remember exactly what he said in freshman year.
"We will be respected, doesn't matter what it comes to."
Taehyung was still a little innocent child then, excited to explore everything the world had to offer.
Then Jin showed us how to be respected. To be feared. We like it better like this, where we're treated like royalty. Because we are.
I don't completely support Taehyung's way to keep his respect, yet I've become accustomed to it. I've done it once or twice just because I could. I like when people are scared of me.
