His arms remained on my waist as I pulled away. As we looked at each other, his eyes zoned to my lips. Chase started to lean in and it was making my stomach flip. As our lips were about to graze each other the doorbell rang. He groaned and I backed away.

We stepped inside but I remained quiet. "Who is it!?" Chase hollered.

"The team!" Was the response made by William.

Our eyes held panic as they snapped towards each other. "Guys now's not a good time, I don't feel well," Chase shouted, lying.

Someone scoffed and said, "Dude really? You never get sick. What's the problem? You got a girl in there?"

"What? No," Chase scoffed.

I face palmed myself, "That was so obvious idiot!" I hissed in a whisper.

"That's it dude, we're coming in," I think it was Asher who said it.

Chase instructed me to go hide in the "forbidden" room. I looked at him and he stiffly nodded. That was all it took for my legs to make a beeline to that room. As soon as I entered the room I quietly shut the door behind me. The voices of the team echoed throughout the house.

My eyes scanned the room. It also looked like a boys. There was an ocean blue feature wall. Against it was a desk with workbooks, toys and frames. I picked up a frame and examined it. There were two boys there, one was Chase but I couldn't pinpoint the other.

He looked younger than Chase and he had chocolate eyes with blonde hair. By his facial expression in the photo - he seemed very blissful.

I opened a notebook and it looked like first grade work. The typical 1+1 sums. Wait... there should be a name on he front. There was - Cedric Matthews. He had the same last name as Chase, maybe they were brothers?

Someone opened the door and out of instinct I elbowed them in the nose as a defense mechanism. "Fudge!" The person screamed, okay they didn't actually scream that but you get the idea.

I winced as I recognized that voice.

"Why is it that you're always hurting me?" He asked, breathing heavily.

I opened my eyes and took in his wound. Chase's nose was bleeding.

"I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed, touching his arm.

I grabbed his free arm and we marched towards his bathroom. He sat on one side of the sink and I took out some antiseptic liquid and cotton balls. He was only a few inches taller than me now because he was sitting. Before the cotton could come in contact with his skin his finger touched my lip, "The cut is still there," he stated.

I nodded and put his hand down. As soon as the liquid touched his skin he winced and I backed away - hating the fact that I was hurting him. Before I could do it again his hand found my free one and squeezed it. I squeezed back as I was cleaning the blood.

After a few minutes we were done and I gave him an ice pack. He held it against his nose to stop the throbbing pain. At the moment his nose was a bit bruised but the dripping blood vanished.
