"I'm ready Jake," I said, exhaling deeply.
He nodded and we walked downstairs. Why does everyone go silent whenever I'm around? "Can we join?" Jake asked.
My mom smiled sweetly at him, "Sure," she replied.
There were fourteen of us in total. We were playing Trivial Pursuit and it was Jake, Chase and I. There were four teams of three.
Jake and I sat down on bean bags around the huge table. Chase came and sat down next to me. "Okay we'll let Kensi's team go first," my dad announced.
I grabbed a card and said, "What catch phrase is most commonly associated with Arnold Schwarzenegger?" I asked my group.
Jake quickly said, "I'll be back!"
One point for us.

/|\It was three hours later and 23:00. The game ended, my team won. I went upstairs to go to my bathroom and when I exited I found Parker in my room. I had a mini heart attack and quickly put my hand on my heart to calm myself down.
He got off the bed in a relaxing manner and sauntered towards me. I started to back up and my back hit against the wall. He was right in front of me, I could even hear his breathing. Damn, why are we always in this position?
I was looking at the floorboards but he used his index finger to gently lift my chin up, "Now how do we always find ourselves in this position?" He asked, voicing my thoughts.
"Go away Parker," I commanded.
"Now when has that ever worked Summerskill? Thought you knew better. You can't command the wild, they'll obey for the moment and come back as assassins," he smirked.
"Well maybe this dog needs a leash for the moment because it seems to have a listening problem. I said go away. You're going to regret ever starting this," I threatened.
"But you see Kensi, someone's been a very naughty girl," Parker tutted, walking around my room.
Fudge nuggets. He knows.
"Give it to me," he commanded.
"Give what Parker?" I innocently asked.
"Your phone. Give it to me or I'll tell everyone what you and Jakey boy did," he tried to blackmail me.
I still refused so he pinned me against the wall, his arm on my neck, crushing my supply of air. Deja vu all over again.
"Guh...uh...ah." I struggled.
I used all the power and knowledge from training and grabbed his arm and pried him off me. I kicked him in the shin and grabbed his arm, flipping him over.
"Don't ever try that again Parker, you should know better than to mess with the alpha, they always protect the pack," I told his shock ridden body that lay on the ground.
