Chapter 1: The Beginning

"Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations."

                         – Unknown

It was like a blink of an eye. We've never expected it, and it just happened. Sometimes the things you wanted to experience will be the last part of your challenging journeys. It will test our capabilities that what we have been avoided.

Everything happens for a reason, and that's what many people believing. But sometimes we just want to live in a place where we can stand alone. Where we can speak alone.

The reasons that we are trying to figure out was still ambiguous because it just happened without reaching our expectations. Even we are fighting our own momentum. Even we don't want to give up.

Hindi ko alam pero mahigit isang buwan na rin ang nakalipas simula nong namatay si Tan, I just can't believe that he is already dead. Isang araw naalala ko nung may freshmen ang nagconfess sa classmate niya, I just remembered Tan. Bakit ganon, even though I won't believe that life is unfair according to people but it pushes me there.

Nanatili akong nakatingin sa langit, its been 1 month after what happened.

Kung sa science pa, it was just a substance who passes by with a sign of cold breeze to turn rain. It is something that you need to balance everything so you can choose the proper and exact word for it. What if it was Tan? Tsktsk. I am gettin' crazy.

Tan was a good friend and he will always be like that. Pero ang hindi ko lang maintindihan, who is really Tan? His true origin. His true name. Kristan Johnson is not his name. I just knew it.

Or what I mean Sir Febbie Johnson's true son.

"Selene."

Napalingon ako sa taong tumawag sa akin.

"Min."

It was been a month also since he did not call me with his endearment towards me. I don't know. Min also had changed.

"Bakit?" puna ko. Mas lumapit pa ito sa akin.

"Makulimlim na, umuwi na tayo." I close my eyes.

Even Sir Febbie was doomed after what happened. That place was not really known because it was really private.
