Cass

The losers and I searched all day. We found nothing, and we wouldn't be able to search tomorrow, we had school.

"Do you guys think they're okay? Is it worth looking for them or are we wasting our time?" I asked, looking around at the losers. We all sat in a circle down at my favourite river spot.

"I think they're fine." Bill put his arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. "And, if they're not. We deserve to know. We need to know, and the only reason we will is finding them. Our families deserve closure and so do we."

I hated the thought that they weren't okay, but I couldn't do anything but try and find them. In retrospective, I was confident. Now? Now was a different story. We had searched everywhere and seen no sign of them. Then again, there isn't much evidence to prove they're dead either.

"I should get home." I stood up and dusted my jeans, the boys doing the same.

"Yeah, it was nice seeing you, Cass." Mike hugged me with a sad look, Eddie doing the same.

"See you round, Cass." Richie hugged me and I gave Bill a confused look.

Bill pulled me into a tight hug and I hugged him back. "This weekend was nice, see you round maybe." He pulled away and picked up his bike.

"Why are you guys acting like this?" I asked.

"You're popular. We just know you wouldn't wanna hang with us losers, and we wanna make goodbye's easier." Eddie smiled sadly.

"You idiot's." I laughed and they all looked at me confused. "I'm not just gonna forget about you all at school. I was actually hoping you guys could save me a seat in our classes together?"

They all smiled and their eyes widened. They really thought I was just gonna forget about them all and carry on with my days? None of my other 'friends' would've cared about Teddy. Being with the losers felt like freedom, I didn't have to dress a certain way to impress and fit in. Being with Bill, that was something more. Something indescribable.

"Sure." Bill was the first to speak up. "Sure we will."

"I'll see you guys." I picked my bike up and started riding back towards my house.

"Hey!" I heard a familiar voice. "Wanna stay at my house again?" Bill rode behind me, his feet pedalling rapidly to catch up.

"Sure! I just have to get some stuff from my own house." We were neck in neck.

I stopped at my house and Bill rode a few metres more to his own. "I'll see you in 10." I smiled, before running into my house, upstairs into my bedroom. I pulled my backpack from the hook on the door and began packing underwear, bra, socks, and clothes for the next day. When I was finished, I took a quick shower and pulled on my pyjamas, along with my black sliders.

I took a quick look at myself in the mirror and realised my night dress was a tad bit revealing, but i'd already kept Bill waiting for twenty minutes, so I just pulled a matching kimono over the top of it. I grabbed my backpack and left my house, cutting across my lawn to Bill's. I tapped the door, as I knew he'd be expecting me anyway. Needless to say, the door was opened as soon as I knocked and he invited me in and we went up to his bedroom. He wore a plain white t-shirt and a pair of grey sweatpants.

"Let's ask Cass and settle this." Bill gestured me over.

"Ask me what?"

"MacGyver or Airwolf?" Richie asked.

"Pfft, Airwolf, obviously." I laughed over Bill's shoulder.

"Yes! Thank you! Ah, Cass, I love you." Eddie yelled, making me laugh even more.

"I think someone else loves her more, boys." Stan said.

"Billy." Richie whispered, dragging out the name.

"You guys really don't understand how walkie talkie's work do you? He! Can! Hear! Us! Richie!" Mike yelled.

"Now he's gonna turn of his talkie like he always does you idio-" Stan was cut off by Bill, just like Stanley predicted, turning the talkie off.

Bill huffed. "I'm sorry, Cass. Don't listen to them it's not true."

"It's okay." I giggled. "I kinda guessed it wasn't."

"What made you guess?" Bill furrowed his eyebrows.

"The way you react, you go bright red and get angry, like you're embarrassed to be with me. Don't worry or anything, I don't mind." I lied. It had been a day and I was heartbroken over Bill not liking me back? I wasn't even sure if I liked him yet, but by the way i'm feeling now, I think it's clear I do. What has gotten into me?

I sat down on my bed and started fidgeting with the belt on my kimono, trying to keep it tight in fear that it would slip off, revealing what I was wearing underneath. "Bill, i'm gonna go home and change." I stood from my seat.

"What? Why?"

"I was in a rush and I really don't like my night dress." I stated and began to walk out of his room.

"I'm sure it's fine." He stopped me, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"If you insist," I walked back into his room and sat at his desk, slipping the kimono off of my shoulders, facing away from Bill.

"See it's not that," I turned around, revealing the lacy front and his eyes widened. "Bad." His voice cracked.

He put his hands together in front of himself, clearly trying to hide 'something'. His face turned bright red, so bright he could put a tomato to shame. I sat back down, pretending I didn't notice his little accident.

"Can I invite the guys over?" He stuttered out.

"It's not my house, Denbrough. Of course you can." I laughed. He picked up his walkie talkie and ran downstairs, outside onto the porch. The guys didn't live too far away, so I sat silently on Bill's window seat, waiting for their arrival. They soon, all rode onto Bill's lawn wearing their pyjamas, backpacks and sleeping bags on their backs.

"Dude! She gave you a boner?" Eddie exclaimed. They obviously didn't realise the window was open.

"Well Wheezie, I challenge you to go up their and keep it down when you see what she's wearing!" Bill whisper-yelled.
