Cass

"Don't even, Tozier!"

I awoke to the sound of Bill's normally soft voice, obviously shouting at Richie. The sun streamed through the blinds, the beams of golden light slicing my pillow. I sat up, sliding my shoes on and walking downstairs.

"Richie! Please! I'll do whatever you want!" Bill pleaded.

"No, Bill! She needs to know!" I walked into my lounge room to see Bill and Richie at opposite ends of the room, as if they were about to charge at each other. Bill looked mad, upset more so. Richie just held a firm hand out in front of him, holding a sketchbook in the other hand.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked, both of there eyes widened.

"Richie no!" Bill jumped at Richie.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!" I pulled the boys away from each other, pushing Richie to the other end of the room. Bill's chest rose up and down with the heavy breaths he was taking. I put a single hand on his chest and one on his face, making him look at me. "What's wrong?" I asked.

He shook his head, gulping hard and looking down at his feet. "Richie. Don't."

"Bill, i've never been so sure of anything in my life. I need too." Richie sounded genuine. "Cass, come look at this."

I looked over at Richie, and then back at Bill. "I don't have to if you don't want me finding out, Bill." I smiled at him.

"Trashmouth over there won't let it be. Let's just get it over with."

I walked over to Richie who held the sketch book in his hand. His drawing were amazing, but one caught my eye in particular. A girl. It looked as if she was asleep, her hair strewn across her face and perfectly shaded by the small strokes of Bill's pencil. The shadowing was cut in lines across her face and she looked so peaceful in her state that it made the picture that little bit more perfect.

"Bill you're really good." I smiled at him. "I don't understand why you're embarrassed to show these to people. I like the one of the girl. She's really beautiful."

Bill looked dumbfounded, but at the same time, happy.

"You dumb whore!" Richie shouted.

"Watch it." Bill warned.

"You unintelligent lady. Better?" Richie said politely.

"Yes." I smiled.

"It's you! The drawing is you!" He laughed, and then it dawned on me. Bill had drawn me. Bill took his time and must've looked at me for a long time to draw me. Bill thought I was worth drawing.

Now I was the one dumbfounded.

"Shit. Shit. Sh-hit." Bill muttered to himself, running his hands through his hair. "I'm s-sorry, Cass. I sh-should've asked-d. Now you think-k I'm a creep. Oh shit. Oh sh-"

"Bill, shut up." I shushed him. "Richie out." I gestured to the door, which he gladly sauntered out of.

"Bill. I don't think you're a creep. That's actually very sweet. But why me?" I asked, sitting him down on the couch next to me.

"W-hat do y-you m-ean, why me-e?" He asked.

"Why of all people, would you draw me?"

He placed his hand on top of mine, which was placed on my knee. I just stared at our hands for a moment, before he slid his fingers into my own like a jigsaw.

"Because, every artist draws the thing that means most to them. Every artist chooses something beautiful to illustrate, and I chose you Little Star."

I didn't know what to say, so I didn't say a thing. I just rested my head on Bill's shoulder, enjoying the atmosphere. That 'atmosphere' was suddenly broken, when Richie and Stanley came, crashing through the door and falling onto my lounge floor. It was clear they were probably having an impromptu boxing match in my hallway.

They stopped laughing when they saw the look on Bill and I's faces. "What the f-fuck are you doing-g?"

Richie and Stanley stood up as straight as a plank of wood. "Error, 404. Gotta go." Richie grabbed Stanley and ran out of the lounge.

Before I could grab hold of either of them, Bill held me back. "B-boys will b-be boys." He laughed.

"Not when they're tearing up my house, they won't." I walked to the foot of the stairs, knowing they were up in my room. "Hey! Don't make a mess because i'll make you clean it, Tozier!"

"Okay!" The boys yelled back.

"I didn't even know they were all here." I laughed, walking back into the lounge and sitting on the couch.

"Let's go get something to eat, just us. We'll leave the guys." Bill proposed with a smile.

"Are you sure? They're gonna make a huge me-" He'd already grabbed hold of my hand, pulling me out of the house.
