Some moments bathed in sweetness
Like a summer fruit profusion
Others pulled down by heart's weakness
And now engulfed in my confusion
Sometimes I'm in the breeze
Blowing through the atmosphere
Sometimes I begin to freeze
In relentless bouts of icy air
Sometimes the sun is warm
Like a little fresh-baked pie
Sometimes it takes an evil form
Burning, killing from the sky
Sometimes when I see lakes
They glow a brightly sparkling blue
Sometimes they're filled with snakes
And I don't know what to do
Sometimes I'm set on certain paths
Where I know I will be safe
Sometimes I sit in bloody baths
Tired, scorned, my body chafed
Now a fork stands in my way
I may travel left or right
Which one I choose I'll have to say
Before I surrender to the night
