Here we go again
I will rise up and then be dead
I know that I will rise
With flowery future in my eyes
And then come crashing down
With my head spinning about
Here we go again
I will rise up and then be dead
As my eyes glaze o'er with fawning
My consciousness is filled with longing
I hear my left side whisper no
While my right says time to go
I sit between conflicted worlds
Distance myself from perfect girls
So I don't catch unreasonable hopes
And let heart's neck feel the rope
I should have stayed inside my corner
My foot has crossed the border
I think I've caught a cold
Hopefully it's just a bit of mold
I know my dreams feel hopeless
I have to question my own motives
I try to keep my person linked
But I've been captured by instinct
And so here we go again
I will rise up and then be dead
I suppose I can't control my heart
All I can do is make more art
So while I list out all these rhymes
A warning flashes through my mind:
Here we go again
I will rise up and then be dead
