# Nick Jonas - Find YouI couldn't ride the subway again. Just looking at it, Just being in the station made me tremble. Because I got off 2 stations before my destination, I decided to take the Taxi instead.
"To the Cliffhead Publishing, please." I said as I got on the back of the Taxi. I sent a text to my mom, sending her a picture of the number plate, just to play it safe.
"You look right ruffled, miss. Are you alright?" The driver asked kindly, checking me with his front mirror.
"I'm fine. Umm...Can you maybe go a bit faster, please? I'm late for a meeting." I answered sheepishly. I hoped the driver wouldn't ask any more questions.
"Sure miss." And with that, the taxi took off, with me checking whether we were really going to the destination with the GPS on my phone.

"Lizzie! What took you this long?" The editor, Lindsay asked as she ushered me to the meeting room.
"I'm really sorry." I said but she quickly cut me off.
"Don't sweat it. I kind of have to rush this because I have an another meeting in half an hour." Lindsay said, pointing at the chair opposite to hers as she sat down.
I sat down and looked at her expectantly. It was better that this meeting would be short. Although I hastely chewed gum to hide my breath, I was still conscious of it. I just wanted to go home and shower so bad.
"So, You did a great job with the translations, but the author asked me to tell you to make the sentences more..light. He said that the way you put it is too strict and feels like being lectured which is the opposite of what he wants." Lindsay explained.
I nodded. "I kind of get what he is saying. I'll try to fix it and send you the edited file. You can tell me whether he approves of it or not."
Lindsay smiled. "That would be great. Oh and the author wanted you to keep on translating his books, and his new book came out just last week. Are you interested?"
I nodded with a smile on my face. Who was I to say no? More work meant more money.
"Of course! When's the due date?"
"The author wants it to be published by the end of February. That gives us about few months. It's kind of tight and we would be working day and night. Think you can manage it?"
I nodded. "Yeah. I think I can handle it."
"Awesome." Lindsay smiled. "Listen, I have to rush but keep me updated, alright?"
"Yeah. I'll send you the first part tomorrow." I said as I got up.
"Thanks." Lindsay briefly hugged me and showed me to the entrance.
I let out a sigh as I got out of the building. The wind swept my face, letting me breathe in the fresh air. Only a few months. It would be more short for me because they would need the translations before they could edit.
But I was kind of thankful for all the rush. I needed a distraction. From everything.
