Dinner was pretty much successful. Tim was really funny and caring.
I was kind of happy to eat Homemade turkey that Tim made because I have only had the store bought ones. When I mentioned this to Tim, he chuckled as he promised me to pack the Leftovers for me.
When Dinner was over with Tim snoring on his bed, Jack led me to the top of his roof to gaze at the stars.
"This gives me a feeling of deja vu." I said as I held Jack's hand for support, trying not to fall off the roof.
"That night at the beach was the best day for me." Jack said, chuckling.
This was the right time. I promised myself that I was going to tell Jack about my past. And I was going to keep that promise. Even if that meant Jack leaving me.
I firmly grasped the promise ring that Jack gave me. Right now, It was the only thing that was stopping me from Hyperventilating.
"Jack, I need to tell you something." I said, not meeting his eyes.
"What's wrong?" Jack asked, hint of worry showing on his face.
"I should have told you this before. But I didn't have the courage to tell you." I said, tears spilling down my cheeks.
"Liz, you are scaring me. You aren't breaking up with me, are you?" Jack said, hurriedly wiping the tears from my cheeks.
"After you hear my story, I'm afraid you might break up with me." I said, finally meeting his eyes. It hurt. There was disbelief in his eyes, not believing that he could ever say those words to me. But I knew better.
"It all began 5 years ago." I said, staring up at the stars that were shining brightly. As if urging me to keep going.
