Dinner with Jack was always amazing. It has been a month since we started to eat together, and I had gotten quite comfortable around him.

"So, How was dinner today?" Jack asked.

"Amazing as usual." I smiled as I helped him with the plates.

"How about Ice cream for dessert? I'll feel less guilty if you share it with me." Jack asked, laughing.

"Hmm..I'll only have it if it's chocolate flavored." I said in a teasing voice.

"Rats. I bought Cookie Dough. I'll buy the chocolate one next time." Jack said, shaking his head.

I chuckled. "That's okay. I was just joking. I'm fine with anything."

Jack soon brought out two spoons and we enjoyed the cold treat in a comfortable silence.

Jack started to tell me a funny story of when he was in college, and I gave a hearty laugh at that.

"So how about you? How were you back in college? I bet you always had your head in books."

I froze for a second. "Umm. Well, I didn't really have the college experience. I mostly took online classes."

Jack frowned. "That's a bummer. Were you sick at the time?"

I gulped. "Something like that."

Jack looked like he wanted to ask more, but he changed the topic pretty soon, noticing that I was uncomfortable.

"So. How about that book you have been working on?"
