I was so excited. I finally got a day off and was on my way to meet my boyfriend, Evan.

I was tired out of my mind and riding the subway for an hour wasn't really on my high to do list, but if it meant I got to see Evan, I will do it in a flash.

As the subway came to a stop, I went inside and looked around to find a seat. Bingo!

There was only one seat available and I hurriedly went and sat there. Success! I wasn't going to stand for an hour.

I put my favorite song on repeat and started playing Sudoku on the hardest level. Hopefully, this will make the time go faster. As I glanced up to check which station I was near, I noticed an old lady standing right in front of me. I immediately stood up and gestured for her to take a seat.

"Thank you, deary. My knees aren't what they used to be." She said as she took a seat with a groan. I still had 40 minutes to go, but I couldn't just ignore her.

As I was internet surfing, I received a text from Evan, saying that he was going to be late for our date. I mentally cursed. We haven't seen each other in a month and I was hoping we could spend more time actually seeing each other eye to eye.

I sighed as I texted him that it was okay. It wasn't okay, but I wasn't going to be that whiney girlfriend who makes it even more hard for him.

I still had to go two more stations, but I just hopped off the train, planning to roam the streets, sightseeing. If Evan was going to be late anyway, I should just browse the shops while I walk two stations.

I didn't know then. That that was the worst decision I have ever made.

Other's might scoff at this. Walking two stations is the worst decision of your life? Why? Because your feet hurt, Princess?

Little do they know, that they have got it easy. If I just went directly to my designated stop, then I wouldn't be stuck having a trauma for the rest of my life.
