Laurence handed me the ice creams, while Garroth paid the ice cream dude. We each had a vanilla cone, except garroth and Laurence had chocolate topping on there's. I decided to have mine plain.
We all sat down at the nearest park bench, licking our ice creams while talking about random stuff.
Garroth checked his phone "Ah, crud. School is almost over. I need to head back, gotta catch my bus," Garroth finished biting into his ice cream, as he stood up.
"Aren't you coming?" Garroth asked us.
"Remember, we walk home silly. We don't have to walk very far from here. It's literally a 10 minute walk, this park is right near the school," Laurence stated.
"Ah alrighty, cya guys. Bye Y/N,"
"Bye," Laurence and I said in sync.
"Soooo...you are Garroth, eh?" Laurence snickered.
"Eh? No, no! I just slipped forward on the soccer ball.." I blushed.
"Sure ya did. Only an idiot would do that," Laurence grinned.
I pouted at him angrily. "hmph,"
Laurence smiled "haha, okay. It was just a joke,"
"Hmm, well, we better get going soon," Laurence said, standing up.
I was so busy talking, I didn't realise my ice cream was melting. It slid off the ice cream cone with a splat, and I stared at the mess I just made.
"M-my.." I stammered.
I let out a sigh. "Let's just go."
I stood up and began walking off. I was kinda pissed since I'm not allowed to eat ice cream since my mothers really strict about healthy eating.
"Ah- wait!" Laurence grabs my arm.
"You can have..mine," he mumbles, handing me his ice cream.
"No, I couldn't—"
"Just take it."
He hands me the cone, a light pink begins to tint my cheeks. I look up at him, his eyes averted to the ground shyly.
"Thanks.." I reply.
We then walk back past the school, and continue to go home. The bell had rung a few minutes earlier.
We arrive at Laurence's house, who is right near the school.
"Uhh..can I drop you off at your house?" Laurence asks.
"No, it's fine! You've already done enough for me," I explain. I also don't want him to figure out I live in the fancy mansion down the street from him. God knows what he'd think.
"Eh, I'm coming," he grabs my wrist and walks me home.
My cheeks turn bright red as he grabbed me.
"What's up with you today?" I asked, nervously.
"Nothing. I just feel extra nice lately," He continues to walk down the street.
"Where is your house?" He asked.
"It doesn't matter. I can walk mys—"
"Just let me walk you!" He says, slightly shouting.
We stop walking, his hand gripping tighter around my wrist.
"Ow.." I mumble.
He lets go of my wrist, putting his hand on his head.
"Ugh sorry, I don't know what came over me..." He sighs.
"It's fine," I say, rubbing my wrist where he held onto me.
"Yeah I'll just, be going home, kay?" He said.
I nodded, and we head off into different directions. I honestly have no idea what that was all about. He gives me his ice cream then forcefully to walk me home. My head was spinning, and the only thing I could think about was Laurence. I want him out of my head for a while.
Sorry for not updating. I'll try and update again asap just cuz I've been absent for so long. Sorry ;A; I can't remember some things in the story, so if there's any plot holes or mistakes lemme know.
