Hey!! Writing two chapters in a row cuz why not ;]

It's been a few days since those events took place, and each day I noticed Laurence looking even more miserable than the last. He blamed it on school work, but he was most likely lying. Even though he looked like crap, he acted as if everything was fine.

I had a bandage on my nose from where Ivy punched me as well. I was still slightly sore, but thankfully majority of the bruises were on my torso so no one could see them.

"Hey guys, lunch is on me today!" Garroth grinned.

"Yay!" Laurence and I beamed.

Garroth walked over to give me a hug, covering me with kisses.

"I'll be right back~ bye Y/N," he winked at me.

Laurence looked at me confused. I think he noticed my monotone expression.

"Uh..aren't you supposed to be dating?" Laurence questioned.

"We are," I managed to spit out. It sounds awkward telling people we're 'dating'. I don't even consider it dating to be honest. I don't feel a single thing for Garroth.

"Well, why weren't you smiling when he was being all lovey dovey with you?  Shouldn't you be happy?"

I opened my mouth to speak.

I don't even feel anything for him, you know. This is a forced relationship.

Well, that's what I wanted to say, but nothing came out. I rested my head on the table.

"Are you..okay?" Laurence reached his hand out, ruffling the top of my head. Flashbacks of the visit to his house were flooding my mind, my face reddened.

I probably would've flicked his hand away, but it made me feel safer, like, everything was going to be okay.

I still didn't respond.

"You can tell me...right?" He asked again, his voice sounded shaky.

"It's just...—"

"What's going on here?" Garroth stomped towards us. I looked up, I could see the glint of jealousy in his eyes.

"Oh- I was just plucking a bug out of her hair, so I told her to rest her head on the table is all," Laurence lied.

Garroth looked at me, expecting me to confirm for him.

"Oh, yeah. That's all that happened," I smiled reassuringly.

He let out a sigh, smiling at me again. "Oh, that's fine then."

He placed the sandwiches and cans of fizzy drink on the table, and we all began eating. It brought me back to times when we were all just friends, and nothing more. I knew those days wouldn't go back to what they used to be though.

"Oh, be right back. I'm gonna go put my stuff in the rubbish, want me to take yours to, Y/N?" He grinned.

I nodded, as he began picking up our stuff.

"Ehhhh!? What about mine?" Garroth pouted.

"Fine," Garroth sighed.

"You should do it yourself," he grumbled under his breath, but I think only I heard.

Laurence left the table, and proceeded to walk to the bin.

"So," Garroth pulled me to sit on his lap.

"No ones here, you know. This place is secluded after all," Garroth smirked.

"Uh, yeah," I replied hesitantly. I wanted to sit back on my chair but he had a firm grip on my arms. I was sitting so that my back was facing him.

"I know Laurence was playing with your hair. I saw you know, there's no need to cover for him," Garroth whispered into my ear.

I didn't respond.

"If our relationship is going to work, we need to be honest. I'm okay with you and Laurence being friends, just don't get too touchy. You know he likes you, right?" Garroth whispered huskily.

"W-what?" I blushed. "How do you know?"

"I've been his best friend for years. Of course I can tell when my best friend is head over heels. Don't let him get too attached to you though, he's cheated on countless women. Plus, you're dating me anyway, there's no need to, correct?"

I felt his lips press onto my neck.

"G-Garroth, you said you'd wait until I'm ready—" I bit my lip trying to suppress the strange feeling in the back of my throat.

Garroth shot straight back up.

"I- I'm sorry..I don't know what came over me," Garroth released his grip, allowing me to stand up again.

"D- did you just m-mark me!?" I blushed furiously at him.

"I- I'm really sorry you know!! It won't happen again, I just let the jealousy get the better of me is all," Garroth apologised.

"Look, you need to control yourself. Seriously." I rolled my eyes and stormed off.

I was running away, but I wasn't really sure where I was going. I looked behind me, and ended up crashing into someone in front of me. I knocked the petite girl right over, sending her straight onto the floor below.

"Uh, are you okay?" I outstretched my hand for her to grab.

"Oh! Yes haha," she smiled awkwardly at me. Was that Aphmau? That's the girl Laurence was crushing on so badly?

"You look upset, is everything okay?" She asked.

I could feel my emotions whirling around. Tears were brimming my eyes at this point, there's so much I needed to vent but I had no one to tell. I started sobbing in front of her, she looked at me confused.

"Ah, did I hurt you or something!? Oh god, what do I doooo.." she trailed off frantically.

"W-well..d-do you think I could v-vent to you? I-know we d-don't know each othe—"

"Of course you can!" She placed her hand on my shoulder.

She led me to a bench, smiling softly at me the whole way. I dried up my tears, it was a bit embarrassing crying in front of her.

"Tell me what's bothering you, Kay?"
