*Sunday morning*
I guess I got a good rest last night because after I woke up, I was out of bed in a split second. Then I remembered, today is the day I am the flower girl! And I know what you're thinking, but I am not too old. No one ever said you have to be small to be one. Anyway, I slip off my pajama pants and my oversized t-shirt, then realized I have nothing to wear to the wedding. If you look in my closet, there is a bouquet of vans on the floor, an arrangement of crop tops and shorts, and 4 dresses. One is all black, so that isn't even an option. I have a white dress, but you can't wear the same color as the grooms, so that's out. That leaves two options. A pink short dress with red hearts, or a silk floral dress with a cream background. The pink one probably wouldn't be the best for the occasion, and I hate to stand out in public, so yeah, I'm wearing the floral dress. I finally get the neck part over my head, and I have to say, this dress is pretty cute on me. I brush my hair out until its flat over my shoulders, then I head downstairs.
My moms are probably waiting in the car for me, so I have no time for breakfast. I slip on some white flats with cream colored lacing as the design, and I'm out the door. I hop into the back seat of the car, and my moms and I drive off.
We arrive at the church 16 minutes later at around 3:32. We are two minutes late, but That's not too bad considering my moms are always late. The three of us hop out of the car, and rush inside of the church. Everyone is just being seated, so we aren't too bad with timing. I grab my basket full of flower pedals from the back of the room, and I wore the right dress today, because they match the colors of the flowers on my dress. I sit back down with my parents, waiting for my cue to start walking down the aisle. It took five minutes, but now I am ready to pedal. I bring my feet past every row of benches, stopping briefly to compare the two families until I get to the stage. Right before I step on, I catch sight of a boy with blonde hair that shines in the sun, a gleaming smile, and golden brown eyes that I can't stop staring at. I realized that I was in front of a crowd of people, so I set my attention on the grooms getting married and played it off as if I was focused on them the whole time. I missed a whole lot though, because I was hearing "You may kiss the groom!" right as I snapped back into reality. After the now wedded couple was married, we ate and did all the other stuff you do at a wedding ceremony. Then, at 6:08, we drove home.
I ran straight upstairs to take a shower, and get dressed for bed. After I finished dressing myself, I jumped onto my bed with my head held in my hands in confusion. I could not stop thinking about the shining hair, gleaming teeth, or golden eyes that was the special boy I saw today. Why? Am I... No, no I can't be. I mean, everyone feels like this every once in a while, right? No. No one ever feels like this. Ever. All I know is I'm not straight. I can't be straight, because if I am, my life will be ruined.
Forever
And I also am positive that I have school tomorrow, so I've gotta go to bed. Maybe if I sleep on it, the answer will come to me tomorrow.
