Love Me 'Till the Day I Die [UNDER CONSTRUCTION]

Chapter 4 - Lost Love

I ran down the hall and forced the door open. There lingers the humid breeze of the outside. I wanted to see Nash, but I didn't want my friends getting suspicious. I decided to roam around for a while looking for Addy and Kenzie. After drifting around the giant field, for a while, being a creeper and catching snippets of people's conversations (and there is some pretty big drama going down) I finally caught up to my baes.

"Girl! Where have you been? We were looking all over for you!" Addy questioned, intrigued and willing to know the answer. Kenzie also had a look that said she agreed perfectly with what Addy asked me, and was wondering the exact same thing.

" Oh, you were looking for me? 'Cause when I found YOU, it didn't seem that way..." . I realized that I didn't exactly answer the second question, but I decided not to say anything. The girls didn't seem to notice.

"Uhhh, yeah... we kinda gave up." Kenzie joked guiltily. " with the sliver of time we have, I suggest we take things back to old time's sake and play house! Shall we?" Kenzie persuaded. Addy and I agreed, but being that I'm not exactly normal, ill let you decide how dumb I am for doing this...

I called over two guys; Taylor Caniff, and Jack Johnson that also go to our school. I decided to change things up.

" Well, good thinking Maddi! You and Addy can be the moms, me, Taylor, and Jack will be the kids!" Kenzie admired. Even though Jack does have the face of an adorable little kid, (look him up if you want to see) that isn't what I exactly had planned.... and here is where you rate my stupidity; "Um, I thought that we could... you know, change things up a bit. Taylor (you can look him up too) and I could be the mom, and dad. Jack, you, and Addy be the kids?" after I actually thought about what I just said and let that sink in, I wanted to rip my mouth off and let myself bleed to death. Taylor and Jack looked mortified at what had just come out of my mouth. They ran away.

"Ha, Ha. That's really funny, Maddi but really, you were joking... right?" Addy asked. I knew the answer she wanted to hear, but I'm not going to do it again... I'm not going to lie to my best friend.

"No, I wasn't kidding. If you have a problem with it then I guess..." I couldn't even finish. I was already holding back tears. My two best friends that have been a part of my life for 5 years. I'm letting them slip away. Everyone was flooding back inside the school now.

" Maddi, that's hedero. You're hedero, and we can't be friends with those kind of people, so I guess we can't be friends. Have a nice life with your future boyfriends." And they were gone. Like that. Blending into the crowd of all the others.

I just lost my best friends.

Just like that.

I suddenly remember that I left Nash waiting for me. I might lose my first love now too. He's probably thinking of me as some sort of lying player now. Great. I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.
