greater than distance
wider than the universe
in the abyss of demons
lie my dreams.
my only hope
burns my soul,
the fire consumes me,
leaves me with little more
than ash and lost faith
but worry not,
these diamonds in my eyes shall not fall
the knives in my breath
shall not lead to death.
the pain keeps me alive
so very alive
wanting a dream
living a lie
i only have so much time.
