i was brought up in a land of strong opinions
i remember the smoking area in the shopping centre that was crammed with people taking tokes of cigarettes and blowing the toxic smoke into the air
but then change came and there was outrage
i remember my mother being distinctly enraged, she couldn't smoke inside, in taxis or in the local pub she was so fond of
and now i can barely remember what it was like at all
no one likes change, but as a generation grows up and starts the next cycle of change, i'm sure there'll be outrage, i'm sure i'll be enraged, but i'll think to myself
"maybe it's for the best."
//so i wrote something different, really different? i don't know. tell me what you think please? ❤️//
