i was innocent
when you kissed my lips
in the kitchen,
it was our secret
no one
had to know,
no one
could know
i lived for
your touch,
you lived for
my grace
but you didn't
press for more,
you were
kind like that
i know you
wanted it,
it was obvious
from the start
you said we could
run away together,
but you went back
home to her
with code names
we talked in secret,
with kisses
we broke commitments
i watched you
with your fiancé,
laughing and
dancing
don't mind me,
you know
she called me
sweet once
we lived
on the edge,
but you
played games
and when they
called us out
nobody
blinked twice
because who would believe
that an innocent girl
like me, would do that
with a man like you
(I totally understand if you don't want to vote on this)
