#9 He meets your child from previous relationship

After One Direction ended you finally got to meet Niall Horan. A friend of yours was some how friends with one of his close friends and they had you all meet. You talked for and while and he then asked you out, you accepted and the relationship started from there. After a while you realized that he was ready to settle down after all he was twenty four. You saw less of him in tabloids talking about his flings with girls and late night partying.

Two and a half months of dating him which you decided well more so assumed that he was here for the long run. You were beginning to trust him; this was no small accomplishment. After Steve you never felt like you'd ever trust any man again well outside your family, at least trust fully.

One day Niall and you went on a walk. It was fall and the streets in London were covered in beautiful leaves that were all different shades. You stopped at a park and sat on a bench together. He wrapped a strong arm over your shoulders.

"Um Niall theirs something I need to tell you" you said nervously as you played with your hands.

"Go ahead" Niall replied giggling a bit.

"Um" you said trying to find the right words, "I have a kid" you finally replied.

You looked up at him to see his reaction. You were surprised he didn't seem too shocked even though you were only twenty one.

"Oh" he said he nervously started dragging his shoe in the dirt below making lines.

You both sat in silence for a few seconds. Anxiety plagued you as your mind finding the worst ways Niall could react. You wanted him to be accepting of your daughter however if he didn't you surely weren't above calling it quits. You were snapped out of your thoughts as you heard a mumble.

"Pardon?" you said.

"Well ugh I think that's well fine" he said declaring his true feelings about the matter as a slight blush covered his cheeks.

"You do?" you asked as you looked at him.

"Yeah I mean why would I mind?" he asked, "I love kids".

"That's a relief" you thought to yourself.

"um how old is your kid?" Niall asked awkwardly.

"Lacey is four well she turns four in a few weeks but yeah" you said blushing from rambling.

"Aww" he said, "um can I see a picture of her?"

You pulled out your phone and showed him a recent picture of Lacey and you playing princess.

"She looks just like you" he said.

"Really?" you asked putting your phone up.

"Yeah she has your eye, hair and cute little nose" he said smiling.

As you talked more about Lacey Niall found out the whole story. He learned about the promise that Steve made to you about proposing once he got a better job and how he'd be a great dad. Then he learned what really happened; that your boyfriend Steve that had dated you though out secondary school had basically knocked you up and left you six months pregnant without any warning. He learned about how his family offered no support as they said the child wasn't related to them at all and left your whole family to deal with the baby. He learned about how you struggled to go to university full time and care for Lacey.

"Yeah but I mean all of it was worth it I can't imagine my life without Lacey" you said as you ended telling him about your past. After a few seconds you asked him the big question "Would you like to meet Lacey? I mean you don't have to I ju-".

"That'd be awesome" Niall said excitedly cutting you off.

Ten minutes later and Niall and you were at the front door of your house. Just as you were about to open the door Niall stopped you.
