            Did you hear it wrong?

"W - What?" You stutter, dumfounded as you stared at Daisuke with wide eyes. The robot only stared back at your look of disbelief, showing you the 3rd hologram of the scene that he took earlier. "That's impossible!"

"My scanners were not mistaken, Miss (L/n)." He said with a serious look and closed the hologram. Wanting to give his copter a break, he landed on your bedside table and looked up at you. Daisuke noticed your nose was scrunched up along with your expression turning from shock into a sour one. Noted, he knew that you were very surprised - and pissed, at the least.

"Oh STOP IT with the maam/miss thing!" You lowly hissed at him before continuing, "What are you even implying on? That THOSE certain group of college students are the heroes of San Fransokyo?!"

"Affirmative." He nodded.

"I... I need to sleep." You announce with a groan while rubbing your temple to somehow ease the stress that was bubbling up inside of you. "This is messing with my head. No WAY are they superheroes!"

"It's not impossible." Your robot companion paused, almost cowering at your furious expression. "It is okay if you do not believe my words.. It may come off as a malfunction. But I am pretty much 87% positive that it's them."

"Where did the 13% go?" You raise your eyebrows. This was suspicious. THEY were suspicious. Yet, you couldn't believe it. They were COLLEGE students.  College students had less time in the world because of one thing; they were preparing to be adults to face the cruel world that most kids would never dream of getting. That's a lot of responsibility juggling all in one!

"Just go to sleep." Daisuke gave you a look with his arms crossed. He saw as you puffed out your cheeks and he guessed that you were probably going to throw a tantrum at him.

"This is your fault." You grumble. As you were about to swipe your hand to grab him, he instinctively flew away and floated above you which earned him a low growl from you.

"I did not mess with my programming, Miss (L/n)." He stated smoothly. For sure he knew he was crossing his limits with your short temper, but he was merely stating facts. You had to at least accept the truth.

A vein appeared on your forehead in irritation. With a louder growl that what you gave him previously, you glare at him from under your lashes and grit your teeth. "I said enough with the fancy talk! My name is (Y/n)!"

Daisuke had enough pushing over his words and didn't reply before he quickly scurried away to leave you alone with your thoughts. He knew that it was best to not interfere and let you think for yourself.

Well, at least now you could think to peacefully after throwing a metal cup at his head.

As you stared at your robot squeak and fly away, you lean back on your pillows and wince when your head had a short impact with your header. You rub the side of your head as lay down, staring at the ceiling with unblinking eyes.

It was hard to believe that the people who you hung out most were actually the alter-egos of the most famous superheroes of the city. But then again, you barely knew them. All you knew were their majors, names, and how they acted. You never knew about their backstories and whatnot.

Well, you could say that you didn't really care. You time in this city was limited, and you were sure enough that after a year or so, you were bound to transfer to another school in no time.
