Daisuke shot his head out of the bag that he was in and noticed how the lab was as quiet as it had been since you left. He wiggled himself out of your school bag to get some fresh air. The bot figured that making too much paper origamis would make you mad at the amount of papers that he used. Besides, you already had more than a shelf full of it that he made specifically for his own collection.
Floating around your lab, he stared at the stuff present inside the room. You were quite the organized one, seeing that everything was in place. But at times, you could be as messy as a pig when you became stressed.
Daisuke came towards the window and spotted multiple minimalistic plants that you had taken care off during the first semester of the school year. He scanned each and every one of it, trying to regulate wether they had enough water and sunlight for the day. But as he headed over to the last one, he noticed that it was a new plant that you took in.
It was weird. He had never seen such a plant. It was opened like a book, with tiny little spikes on each side (noted; like eyelashes). He scanned the plant at least three times and came to an answer that the plant was a Venus flytrap.
"How odd," Daisuke giggled. "you're quite a cute one, aren't cha? Say, when did Miss -- I mean, (Y/n), take you in?"
Obviously, the plant didn't respond.
Nevertheless, the small robot gave a fond smile at the tiny plant that was new to the family of greens. With curious eyes, he tapped the open "mouth" of the plant and patiently watched if it made any moves to close it. Even if it did, he wouldn't feel a thing.
Unbeknownst to him, Hiro had snuck in. The prodigy boy was conscious about the fact that the owner of the certain lab was trying to buy some snacks for the day. And ever since they glared at each other a few days ago, he had to do something about his plan.
And this was it.
Hiro had almost jumped out of his skin when he spotted Daisuke by the corner. It gave him a short heart attack at the sight but seeing the the robot was distracted, he gave out a sigh of relief. The robot looked like a cat that had a bag full of catnip.
Daisuke patiently waited and perked up as he saw the plant visibly close in an agonizingly slow pace that made him even more attentive to watch. He was quietly giggling to himself, unable to notice Hiro who was frantically trying to rummage inside the small bag he bought with him.
Grabbing something in his hold, Hiro made minimal noises to make sure that Daisuke didn't know that he was present. With cautious footsteps, he silently tiptoed towards the robot and examined how the animatronic was giggling on it's own.
(L/n) was right, Carl did have his own emotions.
Just as Daisuke was about to turn around to grab the watering jug, two small metal strings came in contact with his backside that sent electrical waves to his sensors. As too much watts were transfered to his tiny metal body, Carl passed out in a flash, falling into a small box that was full of cotton. Hiro gawked at the sight but proudly smiled at what he had done.
He achieved to shock the robot to shut down.
Carefully closing the box that the robot fell on, he took it in his arms with a huff. Hiro was nervous as heck. He was so paranoid that you might see him snooping inside your lab. Daisuke being absent would raise your suspicions on him. It was as bad as it could get if he was caught.
Unable to notice that the flytrap was burnt as well, Hiro made a run for it and held the box closer to his chest like it was the most valuable thing that he owned. Whilst running away, he stumbled across your figure and almost tripped at the sight. But as he was in a hurry, he scurried away, also knowing that you gave him a funny look while he rushed off.
