"S-Stop!" You cried, tears pricking in your eyes as you felt the intense burning sensation roam throughout your body. Everything in your body stung. The overwhelming energy that was being transferred to your frail form made it more painful as it was too much for you to take ㅡ especially at how it was sent to you all at once. "Enough, please..!!"

"Just hold on for a little longer," Nana cooed, twisting the switch to max. She watched as more of the lazers shot through the rest of your body, her grin widening at your ear-deafening screams that rang in her ears.

"Just a little longer sweetheart!" She shouted over your pleas. You continued to yell for her to stop and furiously trash around the metal bed. Unfortunately, the IVs that were punctured on all of your limbs refrained you from wiggling further. The pain that you felt was so immense that your throat was sore from your endless screaming.

"We're just getting started."

"(Y/n)! My baby!" Your mother wailed, clinging to your body as she engulfed you in a tight hug. You stood still, glancing at her with blank eyes while watching Nana pass her a cheery smile from beside you. Your mother only tightned her grip on you and inhaled sharply at the look that your doctor had.

After 2 whole days full of tests and endless pain, Nana had decided that it was time for you to go back home to your mum. It had been a while, and her troops of life-like bots held her isolated from any contact outside your house. All of your gadgets were confiscated while you were away.

Unfortunately, none of the neighbors (even the Hamada family) noticed the loud ruckus that occured that very day. You were excused from any schoolwork the following day since Nana insisted that you were exhausted. Everytime she spoke, you complied to her every request. You didn't have anything in you to talk back to herㅡ everything was numb. Everything was useless to you.

"The tests went perfectly!" The redhead said cheerfully, putting a hand on your shoulder. She saw the teary look that your mother had and quietly dismissed the horror that her eyes held with her usual smile. "She was well behaved. Although, I think you should try to discipline her to keep quiet. Your child has been really noisy with that loud voice of hers. It's going to be a problem - or, should I say, had been?"

"I revised the kid." Her voice dropped low. She was looking at your mother with a proud bitter smile as if she was supposed to be praised by her actions. "You should thank me."

Your mother didn't reply and eyed her with a wary look, finally slipping away from you. Still; she held your wrist and quietly stood still from her spot.

"Well then," Nana clapped her hands and smiled energetically. Her sudden change from her previous intimidating demeanor was left with no trace-- and was back to her 'usual self.' "072 can still go to school. Her conditions are well now. Just make sure that you bring her to us every weekend. I know well enough that you'll eventually plan to escape with her." Suddenly, she held up a tablet that showed records of your health, stamina and many other personal data that they had collected. "We always know where she is. Try anything foolish and you're done for."

"Ciao~! Have fun at school honey, say hi to your classmates for me~!" Nana giggled and lightly patted your head. Once more, she sent you another warm smile and got in the limousine, her guard closing the door as she got in.

After seeing the car move away from sight, you walk back inside your home. Your homework was left untouched - and Monday would be tomorrow. Nana told you that you were to rest and go back to school on Tuesday, so you had plenty of time.
