The chattering had continued until the bell rang for class. Maria looked at her older friends and smiled sadly. "I'll just wait at home. I think you'll take long in class."
"You can go visit Aunt Cass - I'm sure she'll be pleased to see you!" Honey Lemon chirped, holding both of Maria's hands with a huge grin.
"I guess." She says softly, smiling to herself before nodding. "Alright, I'll go visit Auntie Cassie. In the meantime, all of you go to your classes. I'll come back later around 4."
It was annoying how she called Cass "Auntie Cassie" in her small high pitched voice. You grit your teeth and quickly walk out of the room. She was making you frustrated over the slightest things - something about this girl just made you feel hate towards her.
With a huff, you enter your robotics class and sit down, completely forgetting about Daisuke cowering inside your bag.
* * *
"Class dismissed."
Everyone started to pack their things and leave the room. You took your time to neatly arrange your stuff inside your bag, lightly nudging your bot who kept on moving.
You refused to let him off on your lab on lunch time - he could break something without you around. He was pretty clumsy, and that was something that you wished to fix soon when you had the time. But after all, school was over. It was a good thing that you only had a 2000+ word essay due tomorrow. It was easy, plus the topic caught your interest to listen.
You zip your bag and go out, failing to notice the Hamada brother's gaze on the back of your head.
The halls were quiet with only some occasional footsteps to be heard around the atmosphere. You liked it when it was peacefully quiet - it helped you think most of the time.
As you were about to enter your lab door, you heard a strange yet familiar giggle from the lab next to yours. Who was that?
Looking from side to side, you eyed the handle of the door with unsure eyes. Were you going to peek?
You shake your head. You wanted a peaceful life - you shouldn't meddle with others.
"Thanks Baymax!" You heard a girl'a voice laugh in delight.
Baymax.
You had heard that name previously by Fred. Who was this person? It said that he helped to mend others who were in pain -- physically or emotionally. Maybe he was the mother-figure of the squad.
With curiosity taking the best of you, you slowly walk towards the door and press on the cold, hard glass door with your fingers. It made a soft squeaking noise and you cursed under your breath.
"(Y/n)?"
Ah, your cover got blown. So much for being quiet.
You open the door and blink. "Maria?"
"What are you doing?" Maria inquired with a suspicious raise of her brow, her arms crossed on her chest.
"I heard something." You reply plainly. "Who's this?"
Your eyes move towards the huge white inflated thing that was "hiding" behind Maria. It had two dots as his eyes and a line connecting together as his (what you assumed) mouth of some sort.
"You don't know who he is?" Maria said in disbelief and gawked at you. "You've got to be kidding me.."
You rose a brow and hold your bag strap. "Why? Let me remind you: I am new here. I don't like meddling with other people's stuff. Unlike what you're doing..." You mutter the last part, your eyes flickering to her confused gaze.
