After Honey Lemon had calmed down, everyone went forward and started to tease the pair of you.

You gave them a blank stare while Hiro rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Not again.

"Like I said before, you two look cute together." Tadashi grinned.

"Yeaaaah," Maria drawled out, having a small sneer. "they do look good with each other."

You shook your head furiously at Tadashi and grip your bag tightly. You were uncomfortable with the stares. They were huddled around the tree in which you leaned on and being with more than 3 people gave you social anxiety. You took deep slow breaths to make it seem that it wasn't obvious that you wanted to be away as soon as possible.

Suddenly, there was a clear of someone's throat.

The gang stepped aside to look behind them and was astonished to see a tall red head smiling at them.
"Hey," he spoke. "long time no see?"

"Jack!" Fred grinned, engulfing this 'Jack' person in a hug. "How are you dude? It's been a while!"

The red head let out a small laugh. "School's been a little hectic. Just came by to visit you all."

"You're just in great timing," Gogo smirked and took Maria by her shoulders, forcefully shoving her in front of the boy.

Maria let out a gasp in surprise when she had lost her balance due to the sudden push that Gogo had given her. The short girl fell into Jack's chest with an "oof!"

The others looked at the scene in amusement. You sensed that something was up when you looked at their faces full of smirks.

Jack helped Maria back to her feet with a worried gaze, his hands holding hers for support earlier. "You okay, Aki-chan?"

Maria stared at him with unblinking eyes and was rather stiff, from your observation. She opened and closed her mouth multiple times and she looked like a fish while doing so, making you amused.

"Aki-chan?" Jack repeated, waving his hand in front of her face.

The short girl shook her head and let out a puff, burying her face into her hands. "J-Jack!" She squeaked, peeking over her fingers.

"Long time no see, Maria." The redhead boy gave her a kind smile as he straightened his posture. "When did you arrive?"

"Just this morning.." Maria replied in a breathless whisper, lowering her arms to her sides as she looked up upon him. She was a bit tiny compared to his height.

You smirked. Finally, the girl could keep herself away from Tadashi. This new boy wasn't so bad. At least, he could distract Maria from going near your crush.

Reciting your thoughts, you turn pink and look down, squeezing your bag. Hoping that no one had noticed, you didn't say a word and just listened to them talking.

Eventually, the pair began to bicker about which anime movie was the saddest.

"It's definitely Your Lie In April! The plot was absolutely amazing and emotional!" Maria sniffed.

"No way," Jack shook his head, his gaze down on the girl with pursed lips. "I Want To Eat Your Pancras is!"

"Have you ever heard of Kimi No Nawa?" Maria huffed as she looked at him with bored eyes.
