too much to ask

i been listening to this song non stop so i decided to make an imagine out if it. 

BTW i have like 5 drafts with half written imagines so lets hope i do finish this one. (haha i did it took me 3 days tho)

I was waiting for this guy to pick me up for a blind date that my friend set me up. 

It feels like only yesterday we were on the run, his smiled back at me and his face lit up the sun. 

Now I'm waiting here for someone

I'm just here sitting if he feel this rough? Why's it only you I'm thinking of? My shadow's dancing

Someone's moving outside.The lights come on down the drive. I see a tall blue eyed boy getting out of the car and walking  to my front door. 

I hear the door bell.

We where in the car. He's name was John he was really cool. (a/n for some reason im thinking about Jon Cozart aka Paint now haha) 

But i keep forgetting i'm not just hanging out with a friend i'm on a date with him. I forget that Shawn's not here when I close my eyes.

I can't stop thinking about things like do you still think of me sometimes?

John is telling me a story about hes bother and him. But all i can put attention to is the radio playing TNHMB. All the memories with that song. 

I started laughing thinking about how cute Shawn got the first time he heard the song in the radio. 

Right! John said. I was so confused

Almost nobody gets that part. He said smiling 

Haha yeah its funny. I said trying to act like i knew what he was talking about.

~ restaurant~

We sat in a nice table next to the window right in front of the door. 

The Italian food here is to kill for. John said trying to make small talk. 

Oh i love Italian food. I would love to go back.  I said looking out the window

So you have been to Italy? He said 

Yeah i actually went there last year with... 

Shawn said to my self

Sorry i didn't get the last part. John asked 

 Forget it its nothing. I said.

John was ordering hes food when i saw a couple walk in. This beautiful red hair girl and a tall boy with those eyes that i fell in love with years ago.  

Is it weird that my heart is hoping that he'll walk right in tonight? 

Is there something wrong?  John asked me 

I'm sorry i just though i saw someone. i said while looking at the window. 

I stairs at it for a few minutes when i heard him saying my name. I turned my head as fast as i could.  He was right in front of us. 

Y/N, what are you doing?  Shawn said 

What? I said really confused 

 Come on y/n. I know you want to leave with me. Leave him. It will be only the two of us. Shawn said 

Shaw.i gor interrupted 

Come on y/n. Y/N... he said 

I saw someones hand waving in front of me. 

Y/n.  john said. With no Shawn in front of me. He was laughing with hes date maybe girlfriend by now

I'm sorry i'm just tired. i said 

I could't stop staring at them. The way he touches her when they wispier things to each other. 

So hes your ex? How long have you guys been apart. John said that totally cached on. 

What makes you say that hes my ex? I said trying to play it cool but i ended up sounding rude. 

The way you looked at him. It's a combination of love and sadness and lost in your eyes. He said 

I'm sorry, I'm just not over him yet. But you're honestly a great guy.  I said feeling bad 

Its  okay. Do you...John gets interrupted by Shawn

Y/n can i talk to you? Shawn said with a mad tone 

 I look at John and he just nods.

I get up and walk to the outside of the restaurant where only a few people where. 

You have to stop it Y/N. He said trying not to yell 

Stop what? I asked confused. 

Looking at us like that. April is getting really upset. he said. He could't  even look at me in the eyes. 

April that's  a pretty name. I said 

UGGHH Y/N STOP BEING A FUCKING KID. I MOVED ONE. Shawn yelled losing it. I just looked down trying not to cry. 

 You know i feel like my shadow's dancing without you for the first time. I said looking at him. Trying to make eye contact.

My heart was hoping you'll walk right in tonight. Not with her tho. You were going to tell me you missed me and we were going to run only us too, like before .

y... Shawn tried to speak but i didn't let him

And oh, love do you still watch the sun coming up? Because they used to say that  our love was warm and breathtaking and it was always going to be there like the sun rise.  i said 

And now doesn't it feel fucked up we're not in love. i said with tears ruining down. I saw Shawn's eyes get really watery. 

We were the exception. We were going to make it. I cried

That's all I'm asking? Is it too much to ask Shawn.  i said. He was speechless

I'm sorry y/n. Shawn said leaving me standing there. I saw him grab Aprils hand and leaving. 

I fell apart. I was in the floor crying. 

I felt someone hugging me. For a moment i thought it was him. 

Its okay y/n. John whisperer while holding me.

LOL IDK was it good? Guys flicker is soo good!! I'll upload more i promise !! I feel like wattpad is kinda dead tho BUT i will still write.
